@@jaimebondoza3710 Most likely an Akai S1100 sampler or a newer model s3000/XL or maybe an emu e series with a Z plane filter effects, most effects were on the samplers. to sequence the track he probably used an Amiga with Octamed or Atari with early Cubase I guess, not sure what the state of pc daws were like back in the late 90s lol. Some samplers held up to 128mb of memory back then with an effect board built in or an expansion card installed. it was common to have a few samplers in the lab back in the 90s. maybe even a few romplers.
I'm not suuuuper deep but I think this might fall into the intelligent DnB movement? Also there's a user @ryland.kurshenoff who you may wanna check, they do a lot of mixes at the intersection of jungle and video games. If you mean literal video game samples you may be thinking of breakcore?
This 12” is utterly next level; huge respect and RIP Tango
2023 and it still sounds futuristic imo
Heard Tim Reaper play this in brum a lil while back, just heard that harp sample and went nuts.
RIP Tango, midlands legend
Insane tune, RIP to the man himself, one of the true pioneers
This is a profound piece of music ✨
Absolutely could not get the drum programming out of my head this morning. So i came here to flush it out and rinse it proper.

RIEP Tango, I'm truly blessed to have this tune nothing but bangers from Tango one pioneer greatly missed 👊😐
Classic belter of wild proportions
I had this on 12 lost it few years back :(((
you mean someone half inched it during a party?
F'ing amazing, especially considering the kit he was working with in 96
What do you figure he was using?
@@jaimebondoza3710 No idea but it probably didn't have very much sample memory and most of those effects probably had to be made from scratch.

What genre of dnb is this with? I’m tryna find the one that has like video game voices and very jungle/ ambient dnb sounding

Jungle baby
And my ignorant self always assumed this was a Roni Size cut
He used the same vocal sample in a track of his right ?
@@oscarlloydjohn8855 I'll have to go back and listen, but I think he used this track outright in the New Forms album
How did Tango die?
Seems to be sepsis caught too late
