The Swedish Lvkv 42 is an SPAA vehicle that is equally good, if not better, at destroying tanks. It has access to APHE rounds for its 40mm Bofors, which make it incredibly potent against CAS and even heavier tanks. It is one of the best multi-role tanks in War Thunder.

3:38 the severe damage mechanic is specifically for those circumstances, the game acknowledges that you did enough damage to kill the guy and if someone steals your kill that someone only gets limited rewards and you get rewarded almost as a full kill, it's mega useful.

It can also write off ur plane in air rb even though you can fly across the entire map to ur airfield
a similar feature for ground vehicles would be nice. would make less of my games with apds a grand total of 8 assists with 1 kill
@@bigyeet8905If you do manage to return to the airfield and repair then it removes the reward from the person you shot.
personally I think they should make it easier to tell when a player is severely damaged because it's kinda hard to tell sometimes.
I swear most of the aa vehicles in war thunder are better at killing tanks than airplanes. Also it would be cool to see the m2a2 when you get back to recording videos
The Sd.kfz.222 version A in Chinese tt is a 1.3 spaa, best tank destroyer at the br
The AMX 13 DCA is rather powerful. It was unstoppable at 4.3.

I enjoy the Zachlam specifically because it sucks. Makes getting a 5 kill game very satisfying. (After about 6 games with 0 kills, but shhhh)
@@157RANDOMI really need to stick it back in a lineup, I find it even more passive than my conservative play style but it’s fun on an open map to sit back and take potshots while scouting.

i heard you hate british vehicles, vehicles that do no damage and vehicles that are basically CAS magnets, so i think you should play the ratel 90; a gigantic british light tank with no armor, that only gets 90mm HEAT with a 7 second aced reload and that somehow always gets strafed by planes before it's even allowed to leave spawn (day 31)

I mean you're totally right it's a dogshit tank but there's something oddly charming about it and I tend to do a lot better in it than I ever expect to.
I fucking hate that thing. But you might as well go all out and make him use the 20 variant. That thing is the worst vehicle in the damn game.

So on Wednesday you said “I’d much rather be in the Sprut-SDM1 than this” when discussing the 120S. While I know you made a 2S25M video in July 2022, this is day 1 of asking you to revisit it considering it is still at the same battle rating of 10.0 but now gets 3BM60. Or you could play the standard 2S25 which is still no slouch with the high mobility and mango at 9.3 (though it suffers somewhat with the relatively low zoom on o the optics and the matchmaker as 9.3 now even more than ever is just 10.3 simulator). Also as another suggestion if you’re feeling in the mood to screw with CAS, the Tunguska is still exceptionally lethal. Plus the guns slap hard against tanks. I also find it amusing that the thing meant to look up has the best gun depression of any top tier Russian vehicle at -9°.

Those blocks you called a cinder block are what are known as bin blocks. They're 6ft long, 2ft wide, and 2ft tall. Most of them interlock with each other kinda like giant legos. At my job we use them to build retaining walls.
The funny thing about CAS is I always have enough SP to spawn it but I’ve seen so many enemy team spawn hordes of CAS and then lose because they couldn’t recap objectives in time that I choose to actually play ground RB

the Sweden lineups from 3.0 to like 5.3 are kinda wild. If you want basically a perfect ambush vehicle, Lvkv II (with the long gun) is by far my favourite vehicle in the whole game.

Bro, that intro had me Rollin. Reminded me of a match I played some time ago, where 4 friendlies in AA surrounded a kv1e and kept shooting his barrel/tracks every time he repaired until they left the game. To be honest I should have recorded, it was way to funny. Awesome video, get well soon.

As a fellow 40mm Bofors enjoyer. With the Lvkv 42 SAPHE, you can actually FUBAR a KV-2 through the gun block (or whatever the bulgy part closest to the turret is) at a 90 degree angle. It pens the gun block, explodes violently, and absolutely shreds the turret crew. T-34s get shredded through the turret cheeks with the SAPHE, though the dispersion sucks quite a lot at mid range.

I want to see CV90105 or 90120 gameplay. Im nearing the end of my grind in sweden (im in 10.3 heaven atm).
it's quite funny that the SAPHEI on the 40mm Bofors has a little more penetration than the APHE on the British 40mm 2-pounders, while the amount of explosive in the SAPHEI for the Bofors is almost double that of the 2-pounder's APHE.

In response to years of complaining about flyable but damaged planes being cointed as dead (and thus players forced to bail a plane they could land)
Now any thing short of the wbole plane falling to shreds or pilot death os severe damage. Which equates to a kill even if some one else finishes them off

Spookston, severe damage basically gives you the kill, and if someone kill steals, they get the kill but you also get the kill as well!
Spookston, please please please play the WW2 fox that is the AEC MkII, it has everything, a 6pdr a stab, great mobility, and can UFP a sherman. One of the vehicles of all time.
