This job was for the local cable company. I'd say the best way if you want to sub out is to reach out to all the electrical and landscaping contractors that are likely to put a lot of wire in the ground. They probably don't want the expense of buying these, especially if they can pawn off the liability of trenching to a 3rd party.
Looks like the RPM's are too low or the blade is dull. It shouldn't chew the sod up like that.
