So, yes, the genocide attempted by Putin lays bare the hypocrisy of Western societies.

My family is from eastern Ukraine and nobody there calls themselves Ukrainian. I was actually brought up being told I was doing it the Ukrainian way everytime I messed up. • @junglecat_rant

@@etemytradel4509 Point is, that I talk currently with a lot of Ukrainians here in Germany, lot of refugees from Donezk and Luhansk region who have completely opposite views than yours.
Parts of my family used to live in Ukraine back then when it was part of the Soviet Union. Ukrainian culture was deliberately subdued because even then the Soviet Leaders knew, that looking at history, real Ukrainians have a strong relation to their heritage and their history. This is why Ukrainian culture was depicted as inferior. But I still have children books in Ukrainian in my possession from the beginning of the 70ties.Only for propaganda purposes, like your fascistic so called "leader", I could use the German word 'Führer', he negates the existence of Ukraine. Only people who are obtuse, like you, believe him.
Ukraine is an much older nation and country than Russia and has a much older culture. It shows, because you desperately want to defend the Hitler-like war that Russia wages against Ukraine and you don't have a real reason why Russia started this war. You are defending killing people, rape Ukrainian women and abduction of Ukrainian children to adopt them out to Russian families and hiding their true origin and identity.
      Or you are a bot.

Actually tbh, no one in Asia or Africa really cares about the ongoings and goingons in Europe. They are a tiny corner of the planet (compared to India, China and Africa) in terms of population and area. In terms of economy in the next 2 decades, it will be the BRICS nations that will prospoer and for sure be larger than the European economy put together. The US is very much responsible for what is happening in Ukraine today with their obsession with shouts of NATO, NATO and NATO in the corner of Russia. Imagine the idea that Presidents of Latin America suddenly become friends of Russia, what would the US think about that. Russians do not want the West in their neighborhood and no one in Asia really cares about this. It is Europe's problem and they need to solve it. Nationalism is very important today to rising Asian and African countries. Global problems arent their problems while they want to participate in Global successes - which is what the West did in the 20th century with imperialistic rules in the 3rd world. Today the 3rd world has become 2nd and after 2050 it will be almost at par with the 1st world due to massive markets due to large populations and manufacturing growth!

Interesting. Point A. Troops sent into Ukraine prior to Feb. 24, 2022, would have been a deterrent, under a US or NATO flag. I think this is still an option. A legal framework has to be found nonetheless. Point B. Volunteer troops I'm uncertain what you mean. They'd have no strategic nor tactical value, merely extremely dangerous symbolic "beau geste" value. Point C. Almost all of Europe, not merely Poland, was turned to ashes in WWII. The worst was in fact Yugoslavia, then Greece, then Poland - in terms of civilian deaths per pre-war population, destruction of arable land, etc. That is the "Empire of Lies" that the Soviet Union and Putin's neo-imperialism have been built on.

Same in France with the Sarkozy/ Fillon duo. Though nominally conservative, Sarkozy as President, in 2011, did what no other NATO country has ever done, signed a contract to sell Mistral or high-level helicopter carriers to Russia, probably handing over French military nuclear know-how to boot, obviously over the objections of the defense establishment or anyone with a few neurons. This was ultimately cancelled around 2016. Fillon had the distinction of sitting on a Russian board of directors (Gazprom or similar) alongside Gerhard Schröder up until February 2022, after being indicted and convicted of financial corruption in 2019. We seem to have a terrible pattern in Europe/ the EU/ the strongest economies, when taking degenerate Berlusconi into account. Where do all these people wind up?
