ATTENTION ALL HARUHI FANS: If you didn’t know, or haven’t watched it yet, there’s a movie called The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya that continues the story from the second season, and it’s great. Just wanted to let you all know, since I know some people who never even knew it existed.
Kevin Fish HD there wasn’t a third season because there weren’t any light novels left to adapt, and as you said, the series was starting to get a tiny bit stale. I still think that season 2 is great through.
Yeah, in my opinion, I think the disappearance was a great spot to finish off the series. I don’t think a season 3 is very necessary. I kind of wished I got to see a little more of Haruhi though. That’s where the spinoff series, “The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki Chan” comes in. It’s a fun series telling us what it would have been like if there was NO supernatural stuff in the Haruhi world.
Shintaro Iwata yeah I just remembered that exists. Nagato best girl, but that was really the only standout part of that show. Haruhi’s characters don’t really work that well as normal people

Manga story goes on and get very complicated and i dont know how to say, its interesting but kinda boring but still good enough for you to keep going and read. Its sure feels nice to have more story but to be honest, anime did a great job. Go read if you're hardcore, its worth to read it at least once if you ask me. And by manga, not spin off and there is anime of of the spin off anyway. I mean main series. Still greato but confusing and complex and have too many things
