- Every year since his assassination, Beatles fans in general and John Lennon fans in particular gather in Strawberry Fields to pay homage to this martyred music legend, thanks to the wisdom of Yoko Ono. This being New York expect to hear strangers talk about Baseball, Weed and Politics.
I would love to have been a part of this, absolutely brilliant!😊

I was there once on Dec, 08. I found strength in all the people gathered, while inside I was breaking up still for Lennon. I am a fully grown man but when I remember him, I'm a child.
Yes. That pilgrimage should be on every humanitarian’s bucket list . And it’s a beautiful thing to see generation after generation of parents who bring their children to this now sacred place.

If I had to bet, I’d say you probably enjoyed the chit chat between songs, a spiritual person with sense of humor and because, you responded to my one-liner at the end the video, a thoughtful independent thinker. So excited it bring me to shed tears. Only the Beatles can unite many people from all ages races and religions in the spirit and wisdom of John and the Beatles and unfortunately even today USA is among the few places it can be happened the land of freedom and democracy. Joan and George may you R.I.P paul and Ringo best wishes and a long good life ahead. Best regards from an Israeli fan to all the fans of the Beatles wherever they live.
