There are only 5 Ski Flying Hills all over the world. The Certak in Harrachov (CZE) is one of this 5 hills. With a Hill Size of 210 its the smallest one but still its huge.
I hope so too.. This hasn't been used since the 2014 Ski Flying Championship. Would be amazing if they rebuilt it to modern standards, as the last rebuilding was done as early as in 1992.

Ojoj przepraszam, przypadkowo wyciął mi się fragment zdania. Co nie oznacza że komentarz jest bezsensowny bo wciąż to nie zmienia faktu, że nie ma czegoś takiego jak "mammoth hill"
The term "Ski Flying" is used when athletes are competing in a hill that is larger than K170 / HS185 - by modern standards. While this is true, the Ironwood (Copper Peak) hill is techically a flying hill, even though it is proposed to be rebuilt with a K160 / HS180 measurement - This would in reality make it the largest of the large hills, far surpassing Mullkopfschanze in Willingen. Harrachov is the smallest of the current flying hills. But I do wonder if the owners are planning to rebuild it for future events.
Planica and Vikersund: HS 240? Oberstdorf/Kulm: HS235? -- i thought all the other ski flying hills have HS225 Ok, they rebuilt all of them: It's correct
I think we shouldn't argue about somthing like this; The fact is: Vikersundbakken and Letalnica are the biggest hills in the world. Oberstdorf and Kulm are the other active ones. Harrachov is in a very bad condition And Copper Peak will be (hopefully) openend in 2019
Smutný pohled. Harrachov je unikátní. Celý můstek K120 je přírodní a velká část mamutího také. Vedle jsou malé můstky a kousek dál i ty nejmenší pro malé děti. Je ostudou, že se tento areál nechal zdevastovat.
Copper Peak doesn't meet FIS Ski Flying Hill requirements today. Construction point needs to be at least 170m, and the hill size needs to have at least 185m. Right now it has K145 and HS175, but after rebuild it should be K170 and HS185. It will be nice to see ski flights in the US.

Beautiful hill, wish to see many competitions there in the future.

There was little modification in 2008 or 09
Certak is unfortunately crying for reconstruction before it’s too late... :(
Its to late now.
My dream is that Harrachov will be used in future flying championship 🤙
It will!
Legendary mammoth. I hope that we will find money and jump hills and the world cup will come back
@Daniel Madden Fuck off
W języku angielskim nie ma czegoś takiego jak "mammoth" czyli określenie skoczni do lotów xD

Correction: there are 6 ski flying hills... Please support Copper Peak!!
You mean Iron Mountain maybe?
No, he means Ironwood .
No he mean copper peak, that’s the name of the jump. Not the location of the jump
There is a ski jumping hill in Iron Mountain and a ski flying hill near Ironwood.
