See, even if the anime adaptation cuts a lot of things and has a questionable art style, you can't deny that it was still the right choice to make it. Even the manga version of this scene can't make your skin crawl as much as this solely because you can't see the maggots actually moving in her skin. Holy hell, this scene is a classic
