Your videos are the highest quality race recaps on RUclips, it's shame you don't have at least 5x as many subscribers. Keep up the amazing work and your channel will explode in popularity. As a content creator myself, I recognize how much effort you put into these and it's truly appreciated! These videos are so incredibly exciting without a second of down time.
Ahhh thank you mate, really appreciate that. Yeah these videos are definitely a labour of love! Cheers for the support, and good luck with your channel too 😃
I love your videos Chris. It's great to watch someone who isn't an alien like other youtubers and has more relatable races to what I experience. Great result here, congratulations! Your reactions to both major incidents were great. Luck didn't give you this, you earned it.
Ahh thank you so much mate, I’m very pleased to hear that. Creating relatable content that the casual sim racer could identify with was exactly my goal when I started up 😃 Cheers!
Great race, and a great result. It goes to show that good judgment can often be more important than top lap times. So many drivers rush into situations and end up ruining their own, and often other driver's races. Having a little bit of patience can make a huge difference.
Thank you mate, yeah I decided I need to go back to my basic principles of being cautious, and more aware of what’s going on around. Too many races have been ruined lately, with incidents I wouldn’t have got myself involved in if I’d just taken a bit more care!
OMG! I just found my new favorite channel! I love the energy and the knowledge you are sharing. Your videos are extremely entertaining AND insightful. I need more thumbs!
My first time on this channel and i must say this is one of the best race recaps from a single driver's perspective that i ever saw. Like and a sub from me is the only logical choice here. Thanks for content.
Ahh thank you so much mate, and welcome to the channel! Yeah I know not everyone has the spare time to watch a full unedited race, so I always try to make them into more easy-to-watch packages. Glad you like it!
Found your videos searching for ACC content, found your video saying you quit ACC, watched it, liked it and then was kinda annoyed you wouldn't do ACC anymore 😂. Kinda glad you did because watching people play the same sim makes it more relateable than watching your RF2 videos. But honestly for such a small channel you're very good on keeping the viewer entertained throughout the video with your commentary and with your video editing. Straight to the point, no useless footage of you driving against yourself and so on. Keep it up! :)
Ahh thank you my friend, really glad you like the format. Yeah I realised afterwards that my previous GT3 video title had a bit of a double-meaning. I meant it to say I quit the two races in the video, rather than ACC completely. I’d always planned to return, and there will certainly be more ACC in the coming weeks 😃
Great racing there Chris! and a good break on that first lap too! I haven't run ACC or LFM for 2 or 3 months now, this makes me want to get back in and give it a go.. Thanks Buddy for sharing!!!
There seems to be a big incident like this one in most LFM races, and it’s always a fine line between enjoyment and despair. I squeezed past that lap 1 incident by the skin of my teeth. Another day, I wouldn’t have been so lucky. When fortune favours you, it’s still a really fun series to race in. When it goes against you, not so much fun!
Cheers Pete, decided not to worry about pace for a bit and concentrate on improving my wreck anticipation / avoidance skills. My pace is never going to be better until I have more time to put into racing, which I don’t at the moment.
Well done my friend, we all deserve some good fortune occasionally and you've been long overdue some. Some great racing in amongst the chaos and I admire the racecraft.👏👍
Thank you Tony, yeah with ACC I’ve decided to go back to my original principles and concentrate on racecraft over aggression. I was trying to change and be more attacking, but found myself getting tangled up in far more problems. So it’s back to basics for a little bit!
Well done! Now I'm jealous! 😛My last league race was Watkins Glen in ACC and I killed another driver in turn 1 when he braked early and I missed my braking point by 25 meters. Sent him into the wall and finished his race. I felt so bad that I couldn't think straight anymore. A few laps later, I went into the Bus Stop side by side with another car. He made it out. I didn't. Damaged my car enough that it was nigh undrivable. Meatballed it on the following lap. Glad your race ended MUCH better than mine did! 😀
Oh dear, I can fully sympathise with you there. I’m exactly the same… if I knock someone off, I beat myself up so much about it that I can’t fully concentrate and then end up making more mistakes. So don’t worry, you’re certainly not the only one!
Tell me about it, my computer room has been brutal. This race was the early Saturday morning one on LFM, pretty much the only time of the day when it’s a tiny bit cooler.
Thank you mate, yeah decided to go back to my basics of being cautious, extra aware of what’s going on around me. Pace is really suffering from not getting much track time, so I figure being as safe as possible is the best way to get those positions atm 👍
Loved this video Chris - enjoyed the longer race distance and you judged the drive very well! That first lap incident was crazy - surprised more drivers didn’t use the run off area instead of piling in, but maybe the field was just too bunched…
Yeah, great point, particularly as you won’t get any slowdown penalty in ACC. Just a track cut warning, and you can take a few of those before being penalised. Longer race was fun and a bit less stressful after that first lap. Will wait until the weather cools down before I try another though!
Yes, I think it’s helped by just dialling down the attacking a bit. I’ve gone back to my cautious self, so I have more chance of bringing it home in one piece!
Thanks Michael. I’m not so worried about getting faster at the moment… I’m more focussing on being sensible and trying to read situations better. My wreck anticipation / avoidance skills were certainly a bit better here than in recent ACC races, so that’s encouraging.
Shame you didn’t get to feature. When I came out of the pits, I saw you come past and thought we might get a battle in. But I couldn’t keep up with you 🤣
Ahhh thanks mate, yeah I stayed on the side of caution for this one and kept it higher. I can lap around 1sec faster in the Ferrari but I sometimes lose it when I take too much kerb, so thought the BMW would be a slower (but safer) bet. High TC was definitely slowing me down though, you can notice it exiting the corners in particular. Cheers!
Hmm, it’s like the car chase in The Blues Brothers. Or, appropriately enough, the Idemitsu MX5 Cup race at Watkins this year (check it out on the IMSA Official channel).
@@chrisrogerssimracing oh yes indeed. IMSA Official's channel is brilliant. I cancelled my Sky F1 subscription after finding this on YT. The racing is top class and it's proper racing too. Check out the MX5 finish in (I think) race 1 at Sebring 2021. Proper Hollywood.
A good race well driven. You think your week was a disaster? Last week sent me back into Rookies, losing 2.7 SR along the way. Bloody Bathurst. Had one race around Watkins this week. It's a great track but I'm always nervous at the bus stop. Had a funny pile up at Snet this week, making up 6 places. Pile ups are always fun when it happens to other people.
Ouch! I was spared the option of Snetterton due to my declining safety rating. I just had enough to scrape into this series, but too low for the Coach Dave Sprint. No great loss for me though, I really struggle with Snetterton!
Ahh mate, sorry to hear you got caught up in it. And then getting bumped by a pit line entry, that just pretty much sums up a bad day on track! Hopefully next time we’ll get to have a battle!
@@chrisrogerssimracing Look forward to it...when i find some talent! I'm very much a newbie at this. Started following you today, my content isnt quite up to yours!
No, it’s just one of the default designs you can choose when you edit in-game. There are about 5-6 basic ones you can cycle through, and then choose three colours to fill them.
Yeah, I can get into the 1.45s no problem in the Ferrari, but I struggle taking the kerbs in it. So I was more concentrating on just completing a mistake-free race here, and thought I’d have a better chance of that in the BMW. Think it’s probably the slowest car out there though… no other BMW managed to finish in the top 20. So I’ll take that as a positive.
Because I don’t have a professional setup mate. I just race on a temporary setup on my work desk once a week or so. Certainly would never claim to be a pro RUclipsr, I just cobble these videos together on my iPhone 👍

Good to see you back and nice drive. Glad to see you have your sim racing mojo back
Thank you Dan, appreciate that mate. Cheers for watching
Well done Chris. Its been very hot racing this week, especially in VR. Moved well up the field there 👌

what a journey you have been on form where you a few weeks ago... It is great to see you enjoying your racing again, long may it continue
Thank you Nij. Amazing what a little break can do. Oh, and a couple of races that don’t get ended by crashes helps a bit as well 🤣
Finally you get some good luck in acc! That was a smart drive too, good reflexes and good decisions.

@@chrisrogerssimracing Yep i saw that you were pitting as i came around the start/finish straight. I was just happy to avoid the chaos!!
Higher TC is robbing you of some pace mate. TC 4 is good for 95% of tracks in the beemer. Great video as always.
Ahhh thanks mate, yeah I stayed on the side of caution for this one and kept it higher. Just knew it would happen this weekend. ☺️
Haha I was actually quite worried about you, when your comment didn’t appear!
Awsome Race , i have AC/ACC/RF2 however it is on Automobilista 2 that i really feel at home.
Thank you mate. Yeah I tried AMS2 and enjoyed it, but I’m a bit limited on disc space at the moment so having to keep my sim space a bit tighter!
Great race
Thank you Roger! Cheers for watching
