- Now that the Saiyans have accepted they can't take over the earth nor get their hands on the Dragon Balls they are taken under the wings of various earth-bred fighters and shown another lifestyle as Goku was. Can Kami's Pendulum Room work similar magic to the Timechamber and soothe the savage Saiyans?

Man I was kinda expecting the Sayians to have gotten stronger than they did, but hey I get the reasoning. I'd also love to see Vegeta meet Tights so him and Yamcha end up as brothers-in-law

In dbz canon, it’s a huge missed opportunity that Piccolo and Vegeta hardly ever interact with each other. One of the only times I even remember them really talking was in the non-canon Z Broly movie.
Most they talked was probably right before Vegeta blew himself up.

I like that this series is a deconstruction of the dragon team’s training methods and how the potential that the lookout provides can affect multiple characters. Nappa and Yajirobe, Chiaotzu being more present, Raditz and Goku bonding and learning their parents’ fate.
It should also be noted that everyone is still more or less on par with the ginyu force, but Frieza is still far stronger even in his 1st form. The next arc will be interesting

9:10 - Kami & Tao is also at the level of Roshi & Shen.
13:28 - Kami has greater sorcery than Baba.
13:38 - It feels like you're running your words together around this part.
14:10 - That sounds more like sorcery than psychic, unless you're talking about repressed memories, which wouldn't work with planet Vegeta's destruction.
The line is about Roshi adapting a new trick out of an old one he used to be incapaciated by, its a call back to the pricnicple of the move lying in the defeat at the hands of King Piccolo, the point is teaching Raditz a lesson. Old dog new trick.
I'll admit I forgot to mention Kami as a past teacher for Tien but the point of that bit was that Tao was greedy and short sighted hence being critically wounded to the point of needing major surgery and augmentation after he went after Goku and then didn't even learn his lesson after that.

You completely missed the part where Kami says he's upgraded the pendulum room with the HELP of Baba's sorcery and Chiaotzu's psychic energy. Also Kami is unable to freely comune and summon the dead from other world with no mention or fear of Yamma or anyone else so I'm not even sure if thats a fair assesment, Kami doesn't use his magic to any extent as much as Baba uses her own and he also has access and use of ki which is notably different. Now Kami is definitely stronger than Baba I'll pay you that, but him recruiting her help for a job is just a statement that they're capable of together.
The pendulum room has #1 always behaved like that. Goku never met Mutaito nor knew his name but was able to go back to his time and it wasn't even through Roshi's memories he got to. Kami needed help to make the room more than a glorified image training space, Baba's magic helps create the more realistic interactable illusions anr Chiatzu's psychich helps amp the room's already present ability to perceieve and display events beyond even its user's direct knowledge.

Direct knowledge, as in something you know or have learned yourself first hand not because someone else or a book etc told you about it. Its direct knowledge Planet Vegeta was destroyed and probably not via meteror, everyone knows that pretty much ditectly. Who did it or why is unclear however so the room when opperating on this info shows it as unclear an unclear event, however the room is not sentient and doesn't have a bias or anything so any interpretations of what you'd be seeing that aren't explicitly called out by the spirits or people you're manifesting is gonna need to be interepreted by you. Hence Vegeta and Kami making conclusons about what they were seeing.

its like... surprisingly wholesome. They defeat evil with... kindness and education. Like dude! its my little dragon ball z. I love it, and might borrow some ideas here.
I enjoyed seen the progression of Raditz, Vegeta, & Nappa's Training in this part before the start of the Namek/Frieza Saga, and even Goku joined in too not wanting to use the Time Chamber. 🙂 Glad Goku and Raditz brother dynamic grow using the Pendulum Room to train with & seeing Bardock and Gine. With Frieza on Namek now I'm wondering how the Z-Fighters will get there my guess is using the Earth's Dragon Balls. 🤔 My favorite part was Raditz going through the same training like Goku did when training under Master Roshi even Krillin pull the same tricks too. Anyways another really good part, and looking forward to the next part soon.

I cannot believe what I just watched, Raditz being Roshi's student and apparently meeting and getting Launch as a girlfriend, guess we're getting Ranch in this story soon, Nappa being Tien's student and getting along with Yajirobe and somewhat with chiaotzu and Vegeta just training up with Piccolo, but I wanna get this directly from you Plus Ultra man, the pendulum room, how does it help with physical training again, I heard what you said about it, more info and a clearer answer, I can tell that the beings in there will be superior depending on the view on them but how does it truly help, does it actually allow getting strength from sparring and fighting, sorry if I'm slow on this uptake, but I need a direct clear answer for this please?
basically just think of it like the danger room from X-men comics except using magic rather than technology. Very realistic illusions that feed off the memories and power of the chamber's user to give them a real simulated battle rather that just experince and knowledge
@@PlusUltraMan so it still doesn't give physical gain but knowledge and experience, being able to learn new moves like Goku and Raditz seeing Bardock using his moves, nice, and experience is a good thing too, this is why I'm a subscriber to your channel, it's ideas like this I like, something new and fresh like upgrade the pedulum room, this is why I'm always excited for new videos from you.

Also the danger room does have real things that can hurt you and allow the xmen to train their mutant powers, tactics, teamwork, AND their bodies so yes you get a real workout through the pendulum room like we saw in the filler episode where Popo basically tortures the humans 😂

How are the 3 so weak after this long training, the name of the sayain game is adaptability. Closing such a small gap for someone like Vegeta should be easy after about a few weeks of hard core battle....but lord chatzu is insane😂
I very explicitly say they are NOT gaining strength from their access to Zenkai boosts, its also only half a year of training while also juggling actually adapting to earth as citizens of the planet not just as fighters.

The final beam canon from vegeta. Dirty grenades, reverse galick gun, stardust masenko.
Nappa: tri-break cannon, bomber ray Dx, or multi form arm breaker.
Raditz: a friday kamehameha, a weekend Disc, and a scatter Saturday crash💥 .
But I’m really interested in what they’ll do against the ginyu force or frieza’s minions.
Seeing vegeta or raditz using full power mode taught by roshi would be interesting.
My second issue is where they go from here cause it’s either otherworld since yardrat won’t be an option unless one of the zfighters want to explore the depths of space.
Destroying the scouters only delayed Frieza, the ginyu's arrived hours later with new and better scouters. The only real roadblock would eventually be the lack of the password and when he was denied his wish in canon he was already more than fine with at the very least wiping out the namekians and selling the planet and also likely destroying it whole out of rage for wasting his time and getting his hopes up, there were also only about 100 namekians left its made very clear they needed help to survive the invasion

I mean in the 2nd ch of Z when everyone meets up at Kame House Bulma is extremely irritated just at the thought of Yamcha and refers to something he did, something so bad she doesn't forgive him until he's litterally killed and when he returns she has no real further romantic interest in him. Simple conclusion is that he did something that turned Bulma off the relationship she found really heinous. Also not to mention they've made jokes about Yamcha looking at other women before and the character litterally became a pro-athlete and then had a ltr end extremely soon afterwards lol there are a lot of little jabs he crossed soneform of line somewhere even if not outright cheating, in someway he was therefore unfaithful.
I really like Yamcha myself but him having flaws doesn't ruin him so much as fleshes him out as a character just like Krillin, Gohan, Piccolo and the rest of the character's flaws flesh their characters out and make them feel more tangible. Like the idea that Yamcha could have been thinkint about how selfish and shortsightened he'd been with Bulma as he makes the decison to fight the Saibamen for Krillin is total head canon built from multiple wonky extrapolations, but at the same time if that reading of Yamcha's character enhances the affection some people have for his character I don't see a major issue. Just adressing your take from both the perspective of what the series says and how the series is commonly interpreted

It sucks that RUclips encourages these fake uploads for videos that aren't available. I hate how it shows up in the subscription feed like something I can watch but can't. RUclips is so broken.
honestly don't get this take, its just a way to make sure you see something comes out, the vast majority of the time people mention NOT even knowing something has been out, and aside from that it is exceedingly easy to tell a video premiere from a currently live video, they litterally have the words PREMIRE OR UPCOMING instead of a vid duration number and an upload date instead of info like # of views.
Not to white knight for the platform or say it has no bugs, but the whole "giving creators a way to make sure people stay informed on our content that we work hard on which can be often missed" thing is one of the real issues with it lol
