We are 2 daughters. But our father still thinks he had a boy child instead. It hurts still that he never accepted us as his own. The lines in this song" kal baba ki laati ban jaungi" and "amma tere gharaunde ki chidiya hu..ghar wapas aaungi" hit me so hard. If every parent supported their daughters and had a mentality that their daughters are their strength, this society would have been a little better place. We wouldn't have to suffer everyday.
Don't worry one day you'll come back with huge success to show your father that daughters are not even equivalent but are better than sons.
It's not individuals fault need to change whole societies mindset.

This song hits you on an encore level . Every single time when you listen “kya shadi ke aage zindagi Nahi??” , gives upcoming generation of parents a lot to think about! And for people raising their daughters in Indian society should understand life has much more to offer than a wedding for today’s young women. They are capable to be whatever they want to be, just be supportive and give the saddle of their life in their hands.
