You’re learning and being pretty cautious and that’s good! Reading the terrain is very important for survival. Just about everything can bite you. From painted lines in a crosswalk to pot holes, loose pebbles/sand, oil, fresh blacktop, off cambers etc. The crown in a road can spell trouble to a beginner rider. Apexing, counter steering, trail breaking will come in time. However terrible you think your mirrors are you need them. Takes no time to tuck your elbow in to get a view of what’s coming up behind you as opposed to turning your head. I’m trying to help you here.

Do you feel like you got bored of the R3 pretty quick or do you think I could get a few years out of it?
Only boring if you are traveling at high speeds in a straight line or want to go 100+. Curves and commute are fun for me
I feel like I have outgrown the power of the bike but it’s still fun to ride just going full throttle doesn’t get me excited, still fun tho
