My 15 year old granddaughter introduced me to Alec’s music and even though she lives on the other side of the country and only gets to visit several times a year, I’m so glad that we can share the music long distance. Honestly, I don't think it's necessarily a simplistic artist vs artist comparison like you're implying. For one thing, Benjamin writes the music he preforms. Most of the artists you're talking about, don't. That's why most of the more popular music sounds alike. It's written by... like 3 different people. Honestly, I don't think it's necessarily a simplistic artist vs artist comparison like you're implying.
For one thing, Benjamin writes the music he preforms. Most of the artists you're talking about, don't. That's why most of the more popular music sounds alike. It's written by... like 3 different people. And that's the music for about... 40+ popular artists.
These people pump out songs all day cuz that's their job, not that they aren't good at it but... it's their job to make music for the masses to bring in money, not something interesting, emotional and thought provoking.
