I met Harrison Ford when he took Helicopter Lessons before that Movie he shot with Anne Heche.....some kind of Island Movie.
At that time, he was just Stone Cold Cool, Polite, more like the Carpenter he started out to be.
We were a small FBO, with Serious Helicopter Chops, away from Hollywood, and i think Harrison liked just training in good Coptor Rigs, with no Fanfare.
Absolute Gentleman, in that Era.

Great freaking movie, the escape from the train crash is imo the most exciting part of the movie, it set the tone for the rest of the movie being great

I was chatting with an older patient and she was talking about what a Dick Harrison Ford was especially to Carrie Fisher. And it sounds like good advice but now that I know that I could totally hear that as being a dick thing to say. Maybe it wasn't. Seems she didn't take it that way but apparently he could have quite the attitude.
