It is good to see that people are out and about. It's nice to hike alone, but it is nice to meet people every now and again and chew the fat. I loved the deer and the hog. It just goes to show that it may be near places, but it is still wild. Is that a manmade levee. I wondered if we would see a gator or not. I was worried about gators, and you come up on a rattle snake 😮. I loved the woodpecker, too. It is great that they have boardwalks over the difficult sections. Another great hike, Stephen. Thanks for sharing.

Good stuff, Stephen! Interesting trail, with a good mix of critters. Looks very narrow for the most part . Thanks for taking us with you!

nice capture of the big gator the mass of vegetation behind it looks like could be a nest for the eggs? Those pygmy rattlers blend in so well with the vegetaion on the forest floor!

I go here weekly 💛 Hiking sticks are definitely a good thing to have and hiking shoes.
The terrain changes when it rains! Super muddy trails heh But that’s the beauty of it all.
I’ve seen bobcats bears otter 🦦 pigs gators 🐊 turkeys 🦃 & they also have the black bees that nest in the ground:)
Owls 🦉 storks in December I mean the list goes on :) great video!

Nice hike! I did that one about two weeks ago in the evening. Last one off trail so I got to see a bunch of critters! You should check out Little Big Econ Forest at the Barr St trailhead. East cut of the FT and has a ton of side trails. Southbound it heads all the way down to the east west split and is pretty much trail the whole way with plenty of campsites. Keep up the great videos!

Grew up walking river swamps just north of there. Were no people trails, just me and swamp. I want my ashes scattered there.😊
