Nothing upsets me more than when a person implies that Bill or his family is riding coat tails or using Billy. Like what? We are a tight family, Bill has been lining the boys up and building engines with them starting with Junior dragsters at like 9 years old! Billy beat him fair and square, he started spinning and had to peddle it. If you peddle against billy your done for cause he’s going to make an A to B pass. Most importantly Billy and Bill hell of a way to keep your cool and not let it escalate into an all out brawl. You guys handled it very professionally (yes some words were used in front of woman and children that shouldn’t have) but in the heat of the moment it happens. Personally as soon as he would have got loud with my mom or dad he would have been picking himself up off the pavement. You don’t disrespect as man and his wife in their pit period. You guys are hands down some of the most honest,fair and respectful people I have ever seen when it comes to racing. You guys are very dedicated to your program and it shows, races are won in the shop everyone knows that and you guys put your time in that’s why your fast everywhere you go. When tommy ran the Ls s-10 you could see something wasn't right with him staging. The guy offered a rerun because he knew it was the right thing to do, its a different scenario with the guy claiming the car ran out of fuel at end of the race and even if it did he was very disrespectful and didn't deserve nothing more then bill jumping in and letting him know that there wasn't a chance in hell he was getting that opportunity!

The difference is this. Billy's first race he lost and the winner gave the second chnce, billy didn't seek it. the second race billy won because the other driver messed up and lost from stupidity not a mechanical malfunction.

This reminds me of a frivolous lawsuit. The rerun was technical difficulties before the race started. "I ran out of gas" was AFTER the race started. Therefore no contest! Frivolous, time wasting whiner ruining the race, stirring up trouble, punching buttons to see if someone pops. Calling people names is uncalled for. Period, case closed.

Not to be a azz but Billy and Eddy are both wrong. Billy trans button malfunctioned that was on him and he lost the race. When u pull to the line it's on the driver and crew to make sure that your vehicle is 100% to make the pass. Eddy just lost hands down so if there isn't a buy back option stop asking for re runs. ITS CALLED ELIMINATIONS FOR A REASON. Eddy seeing that Billy got a second race is what sparked the whole thing.

I know a lot of people like myself watch this channel cause of great racing and editing of racing video's. Well what really hooked me was the fact the entire family is involved and you get a lot of personal off track footage also. Which I think is awesome..plus some of the short video's are great and very well put together. Your not going to make everyone happy and people will hate on / envy on things they do. That's just the facts. Keep doing what's in your heart and having fun. I know a lot of people like myself enjoy watching it....

i liked his excuse how he could drive away because of how the sump is? The sump is always at the back bottom of the tank, if it was out of fuel it wouldn't have run down the return road and back to his pit
I was doing the announcing last night and I never once call that a grudge race and I hate that it was said that I did I know I did not get everything right but I tried to make sure I got the most important things right this was the largest event that I ever participated in and up until the drama I feel like it was a really good time. I hate the way it ended and I hope we can do it again next month with a much smoother platform and much less drama

Next time go over the rules and enforce them no re runs you break the rules you loose next pair up and keep the event going. All this could have been avoided if the star struck driver from de S10 kept his mouth shut and invited Billy and his family to dinner or something like that to repay the favor. I'm glad you guys have the truck back up and competing. I know it's been a hard road to recovery since the old engine blew, the struggle's been real but you guys never gave up. Just focus on the race and getting down the track consistently and safely, the wins will come. I look forward to seeing Tommy's truck going back together too.
Key difference between situations. Billy lost and didnt ask for a re-run. He was offered it. Other dude lost and asked for a re-run and was denied it. The loser doesn’t get to decide if they’re honored one. Whether they had a genuine issue or not
The big difference is also that Billy had a part failure on his truck....The other guy forgot to put gas in his car. That's a brain failure, not a parts failure.

Truthfully there should of never been a run it back from the beginning, it would of avoided so much drama🤦♂️🤷♂️. Race like men win or lose like men. Mechanical error and Human error are 2 completely different sides of the coin. Back in the 70s I used to run a 69 Olds 442 and it was set up well. There were not many that could get around it. It was far from stock and used to run the area Dragstrips and on the street. One day at the strip me and a Chevelle were down to the last race of the day for the money .My hotrod was running good and was knocking down the tree on reaction times , we both pre stage and stage the lights getting ready to drop and I hear the car drop a cylinder and I go oh no, I look and the fuel pressure gauge starts to dance. It all happened in seconds. To not take the chance and running it lean I shut the car down. Everyone new I was gonna win because of the way the day was going. I got out and everyone says what's wrong. I says no gas. Forgot all about refueling and had plenty of time. Shit happens and it was still a good day. I shook the man's hand and called it a day. You should of done the same Eddie. Suck it up.
In fairness Billy did have a transbrake problem with his wiring and the guy did have a fuel problem. Having wires pull out of steering wheel and forgetting to put fuel in your car it's kind of the same thing. Not really. Billy should have ran him back since he outran him. But there is a huge difference in their cars but Billy one and that's what matters, a chassis car and a caltracs suspension car is a huge difference. It's a good thing my 65 Nova is a Calvert racing just like your truck. Good luck Happy Days

This is exactly why tracks don't allow reraces. In all honesty, you jumped the first race. Of course the guy guy got beat and wants to turn his shit up and try again. (I'm not buying he ran out out of fuel but drove his car off that's horse chit!) It's all good run him on another day for a grudge race. As for reasons for a rerace it doesn't matter the reason you just can't allow it. Doesn't matter who agrees or doesn't. You just can't do it. That's what buy backs are for. No buy back no second chance.
Even if that's the case, it still doesn't absolve him from neglecting to put enough fuel in his car to get down the track, and the Trumper tantrum he threw after that.
I wasn't there, and I don't know the entire situation, but I think I would have given the guy a rerun, especially if I had benefitted from a rerun earlier. Yes, I know it was a different situation, and the guy had a really bad attitude, but would have rerun just to shut him up. Just my 2 cents.

Billy beat him fair and square, he started spinning and had to peddle it. If you peddle against billy your done for cause he’s going to make an A to B pass.
Most importantly Billy and Bill hell of a way to keep your cool and not let it escalate into an all out brawl. You guys handled it very professionally (yes some words were used in front of woman and children that shouldn’t have) but in the heat of the moment it happens. Personally as soon as he would have got loud with my mom or dad he would have been picking himself up off the pavement. You don’t disrespect as man and his wife in their pit period.
You guys are hands down some of the most honest,fair and respectful people I have ever seen when it comes to racing. You guys are very dedicated to your program and it shows, races are won in the shop everyone knows that and you guys put your time in that’s why your fast everywhere you go. When tommy ran the Ls s-10 you could see something wasn't right with him staging. The guy offered a rerun because he knew it was the right thing to do, its a different scenario with the guy claiming the car ran out of fuel at end of the race and even if it did he was very disrespectful and didn't deserve nothing more then bill jumping in and letting him know that there wasn't a chance in hell he was getting that opportunity!

The difference is this. Billy's first race he lost and the winner gave the second chnce, billy didn't seek it. the second race billy won because the other driver messed up and lost from stupidity not a mechanical malfunction.

This reminds me of a frivolous lawsuit. The rerun was technical difficulties before the race started. "I ran out of gas" was AFTER the race started. Therefore no contest! Well what really hooked me was the fact the entire family is involved and you get a lot of personal off track footage also. Which I think is awesome..plus some of the short video's are great and very well put together.

I was doing the announcing last night and I never once call that a grudge race and I hate that it was said that I did I know I did not get everything right but I tried to make sure I got the most important things right this was the largest event that I ever participated in and up until the drama I feel like it was a really good time. I hate the way it ended and I hope we can do it again next month with a much smoother platform and much less drama

I'm glad you guys have the truck back up and competing. I know it's been a hard road to recovery since the old engine blew, the struggle's been real but you guys never gave up. Key difference between situations. Billy lost and didnt ask for a re-run. He was offered it. Other dude lost and asked for a re-run and was denied it. The loser doesn’t get to decide if they’re honored one. Whether they had a genuine issue or not

Yeah, I am far from the sharpest knife in the drawer, but how could he say he didn't put fuel in the car, but he was able to drive back to the pits, and then start up the car and drive back to his pit? Maybe he didn't have enough fuel in the car to make a pass, or something?! Like maybe too little fuel to make up for fuel slosh, perhaps. For real, is it possible?

How do you run your car to the pits if you ran out of fuel. If everybody re ran every time you lost they would never finish any races. Your re run was a totally different scenario.

Truthfully there should of never been a run it back from the beginning, it would of avoided so much drama🤦♂️🤷♂️. Race like men win or lose like men. Malfunctions happen comeback and race another day, because of asking for that rerun that left the door open for that kind of drama to happen. If no run it back happened that drama would of never happened. Guys gotta start excepting there loses and move forward so situations like this don’t arise. All that could of been avoided if the race master would have said no running it back, it is what is next race let’s move forward🤷♂️.

Mechanical error and Human error are 2 completely different sides of the coin. Back in the 70s I used to run a 69 Olds 442 and it was set up well. There were not many that could get around it. It was far from stock and used to run the area Dragstrips and on the street. One day at the strip me and a Chevelle were down to the last race of the day for the money .My hotrod was running good and was knocking down the tree on reaction times , we both pre stage and stage the lights getting ready to drop and I hear the car drop a cylinder and I go oh no, I look and the fuel pressure gauge starts to dance. It all happened in seconds. To not take the chance and running it lean I shut the car down. Everyone new I was gonna win because of the way the day was going. I got out and everyone says what's wrong. I says no gas. Forgot all about refueling and had plenty of time. Shit happens and it was still a good day. I shook the man's hand and called it a day. You should of done the same Eddie. Suck it up.
In fairness Billy did have a transbrake problem with his wiring and the guy did have a fuel problem. Having wires pull out of steering wheel and forgetting to put fuel in your car it's kind of the same thing. Not really. Billy should have ran him back since he outran him. But there is a huge difference in their cars but Billy one and that's what matters, a chassis car and a caltracs suspension car is a huge difference. It's a good thing my 65 Nova is a Calvert racing just like your truck. Good luck Happy Days

This is exactly why tracks don't allow reraces. In all honesty, you jumped the first race. Of course the guy guy got beat and wants to turn his shit up and try again. (I'm not buying he ran out out of fuel but drove his car off that's horse chit!) It's all good run him on another day for a grudge race. As for reasons for a rerace it doesn't matter the reason you just can't allow it. Doesn't matter who agrees or doesn't. You just can't do it. That's what buy backs are for. No doubt the sump is most time the lowest point in the tank/ fuel cell if it's out of fuel it's empty.
Even if that's the case, it still doesn't absolve him from neglecting to put enough fuel in his car to get down the track, and the Trumper tantrum he threw after that.
I wasn't there, and I don't know the entire situation, but I think I would have given the guy a rerun, especially if I had benefitted from a rerun earlier. Yes, I know it was a different situation, and the guy had a really bad attitude, but would have rerun just to shut him up. Just my 2 cents.
My advice for Eddie is stay in Maryland and race from what I've heard there's some Ohio guys that are looking for him to show up he needs to let this blow over because he just kicked a hornet nest! Oh by the way Eddie don't come back down here in the South because we will get you bud!
