- Owen, Victor, Jono and Marshy discuss what it's like to be a youngster playing in such a high-profile Test match like the Springboks vs All Blacks, focusing on Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu and Aphelele Fassi.
Final Whistle Presents Side Entry premieres every Thursday night and is also available immediately on Catch Up.
Great to have Marshall and Victor in studio
This is why Justin Marshall stands head and shoulders above all other Kiwi commentators on the world stage. He goes out and understands the other countries and teams. Amazing guy.
agreed
Justin Marshall was a great All Black.
Victor, Marshall, and Jono are all legends. Great to watch a sensible discussion!
Always quality content!
Always
Great question from Owen about transferring to the new squad members at the end. If this team can be greater than they already are they have to be selfless about bringing in the new generation. If Rassie gets that right, especially in the professional era, he must be one of the greatest managers / coaches ever bar none, Pep and Sir Alex included.
Great to have Justine in the Studio 👍😊
Marshall is a true pundit, on point regarding Sasha
Guys, how on earth do you release a video where the audio is clipping like this?
Not a small channel either.
Can Supersport just upload the whole thing?
they want you to pay for it , this is the carrot😂
@@cornelcarelse7613 it’s not even live sport, just a chat show. 😂
@@AnthonySteinghart irrelevant its how they get you
Audio’s a bit scuffed
I think they will handle it well there's always a first time ❤❤❤
Hi guys this was a fantastic spectecular game of rugby between old rivalries. I have one question what is the rule at the breakdowns? I saw alot of side entries go unpunish.
Yes, the Boks have some great continuity, and it’s not coincidental, it’s about continuity of the management and coaches. The AB are suffering from a lack of continuity of the coaching squad that they had in prior times. Remember how the boks struggled around 2000, not forgetting the mistake of Mallett with captaincy in 1999 RWC, you need sound long term thinking which Rassie has brought to SA Rugby, first in my memory for the boks. And the results show. Worst example is what is happening to the Aussies.
Great job on the audio. So professional.
Victor: A "squat" 💩 that's higly successful... Lol had one this morning after coffee.
Lol
Audio is very bad. Clipping and low quality.
Love Victor
I swear, I can hear Justin Marshall talking with a slight South African accent now that he's surrounded by them. LOL
I noticed that too lol
His wife is a Saffa. Rubs off.
I think he loves us Saffas lol
give em a upper cut..🤣🤣😂😂 gotta love the SA rugby shows!
The boys are looking gooood.😂🤭😊😘🙌
I'm a Marshall fan boy
Church of Fassi 🔜
It is time to put this mystery surrounding the All Black away. They dominated world rugby for decades - but the rest of the world caught up and the Springboks should now beat them properly , once and for all.
Where is Swyss?
Coach now for lady Boks?
Owen has been doing this job for 20 years..and is still awkward af
Goeie Bespreking! Baie insiggewend!
Sasha only "5 meters made" shown on the visual at 4:00?? How is that stat correct?
That stat not correct Sasha 2 breaks against Ireland & 2 line breaks vs australia one leading to pimps try other leroux messed up how is that not 200 m gained

Sa cha(mpion)
Klank is nie goed nie
boks are running scared i can feel it.
I'll say it again, if the Boks miss the important tackles they are going to get a hiding again at Ellis park.
Maybe go look at the amount of tackles the All Blacks missed whenever put under pressure lately...there's no comparison I'm seeing a solid 35+ scored by the bokke
Or they don't take their opportunities.
@@oraclearl_fxI’m in agreement with you 👌
They must get a new anchor please joh this is Rugby not a funeral
They are really pushing this Sasha kid at 10, I feel they are insecure though..because they are having to hype him, I’m curious does SA not have depth in that position? Pollard is getting on now
Interesting take.
I'd say he's creating hype by showcasing his talent. We're not having to hype him I don't think...
Yes. We havent had depth in that position for a while now. Now we have pollard, manie, sasha and then a few youngsters that are in the conversation. Handre is only 30. Still young enough
You're clearly not watching the URC.
@@bunnychowmuncher what happend in the urc..sasha played like 4 games..2 stellar games and thats it.. thry hyping him up..poor kid needs time..had a shocker against Oz
@@jldp24 He has played 26 URC games in total over 3 seasons. Didn't start in his first season. Played 11 matches with 8 starts last season.
@@Tomk79rhby shows you..I only remembered the game against the lions..and 2 others. Didnt do much but had the highlight reel. He needs to start at first 5 and strong together a few decent games. He has upside.
But South Africa didn’t get to play the best Ireland are the best. South Africa has beaten Ireland 1 time in like years. So there you go. When we play SA we just know we will win
Owens questions are embarresing. Hey sascha have a go cause handre is there to back you up
Owen was rebutting Justin's concession that Sacha is playing for his spot...all he is saying that he won't have that pressure bcoz Polly is backing him...one thing we've seen with Polly these past 2 yrs is that he is a team man and not threatened by the young flyhalves he actually is helping accelerate their growth
owen is facilitating the chat. he's been a brilliant host for several years now. i've never thought of it myself before that it must be a massive relief as a young player to have that level of experience around you when playing on the biggest stage.
good q's & good chat
That was a great point that he made. What are you taking about?
They are insecure at 10 I believe .. pollard is no spring chicken he’s class though and always will be.. this Sasha kid has to perform the nation have put so much pressure on him already … what if he’s not as good as you think at test level..and pollard gets to old.. who do the boks have ? I’m curious
@@HerbalTee69 you've never heard of Mani Libbok, same guy played 10 at Twickenham against the All Blacks? 35-7 remember that guy? There are plenty of young 10's it's a matter of preference
the all blacks aren't the ab's anymore, they don't have the same respect that they used to have...
You clearly don't know whay you talking about
@@karabosello773 Oh yeh? Then prove me incorrect?
Why does everyone make so much of the allblacks? any team can beat them, many have done so.
I wanna see the records in history by the ABs please and compare it to all the other teams in the world.
You utter casual.

History is way back, we have moved on.
@@ErrolWeidemann-xn4zv Hahahahahahahaha
I can't watch Owen. He is the worst host. Pushing on Johno, who in my opinion is a very good pundit. Makes alot of sense. But they clearly intimidated by him.
Boooooooooring 🥱🥱🥱🥱😴😴😴😴😴😴😴😴😴😴😴😴😴
Fine to bring on youth/ create continuity. But playmakers Sasha+Fassi 12 caps vs McK+Beaudy 168 caps, on a fast dry highveld pitch that suits AB's strengths... much as I'd like to, I don't see Boks winning tomorrow
Haha this aged well
