The Russians were so eager in defending their country, that they decided to also defend Eastern Poland, Finland (unsuccessful), Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and parts of Romania from themselves.
Why many dislikes? Because game cinematics should be part of the game, done on game engine and be part of game atmosphere. This is just waste of developers money, of which they do not have much anyway. Ingame cinematic in ROF training campaign were cool on the other hand, because they were part of the mission. These CGI exemplify much what is wrong with current IL2 - expensive CGIs in a game with poor single player campaign and no user friendly mission editor... Plus only strategy games like Starcraft do CGIs nowadays, even ACe Combat renders all movies on actual game engine as part of actual missions.
You know, I think it was better this video be called "cinematic trailer" and not the game intro. This video is not to bad for chapter cinematic, but not for entire game. Il-2 game about air combat than it's better to have air battle in intro may be.
Same deal with PPSh-41 , the Sh is one letter in cyrilic (russian alphabet) but we have no "sh" letter in english, hence PPSh, pronounced "papasha forty one."
the soviets did a good job defending their country by invading poland and occupying half of europe for half a century hehe totally historically accurate video thanks 1c
You're my little poor hunted child. The Soviet Union was to leave alone Polish citizens peacefully resting in comfortable resorts of Auschwitz, Treblinka, Majdanek?
the worst trailer ever along with the ingame pre campaign movies i mean really it looks like soviet propaganda film it's worse than not showing anything ....
*Constructive Criticism* This is a rather poor trailer for a game (but not the worst). I just don't think it shows off the product itself enough and is not consistent with the content the viewer will actually be experiencing when they play it. In the future, please just use normal game footage; don't go overboard with the post-production (e.g. color-grading, bloom, depth of field, particle effects etc) and non-game footage, because customers will subconsciously think that you're trying to hide the product and therefore not be encouraged to buy it. Also, don't heavily rely on footage which is not representative of the game at all (e.g. soldiers with machine guns / throwing grenades / live action etc). You may be trying to set up a general narrative of the time period you're trying to capture, but you can do exactly the same thing showing off actual ingame footage - which is what people want to see the most - therefore it's a waste of time. I would only include that sort of stuff if you actually had a scripted story campaign or something with that kind of content in it, otherwise there's no point creating it just for a trailer. If you really want to create some cinematics with characters in cool poses, random soldiers fighting or shots of iconic places for a trailer, you should try to do it within the game's engine but with cinematic-quality 3D assets to maintain the visual aesthetic which will let the viewer imagine that that content is ingame (that animated content can also be re-used for future trailers as well). Some of the best game trailers of all time have either just shown mostly ingame footage (created to show the actual product you can buy), or cinematic-quality 3D animation (created to show off the game's aesthetic and summarise what players can do).
It sounds like a parody. At the beginning, I thought it was a joke.
Разработчикам. Удачи в бизнес проекте, парни!
I'm sure Stalin didn't only want to defend his country. ;)
Pumped for the Yak-1b, and flyable Ju-52
How about a IL2 BoM trailer?
There will be one
These cinematics are really well done. It would be great to see how they're made :)
качественная подача
Хорошо пошла :)
плюсую

I think its because it looks like a joke and honestly yes its a bit cringy
Why so many dislikes? Explanation please!
Cose there is a lot of idiots (^_^)
***** The warthunder trailers are good u fuck
Didn't put dislike but its true that some fan-made totally free trailers for Il-2 BoS are 100500 times better.

BRZ513 Ok yeah, I agree
Where is "NOT ACTUAL GAME FOOTAGE" notice ? ;)
Song in half ?
nice. I can always do a short music video, might help with the ratings.
this looks 100x times worse that the actual game wtf
This needs to be on CONSOLE
when dx 10 ? i hate this micro stutters on the deck
Sucks that you can't fly in moscow in battle of moscow
Has anyone noticed the Russians say il2 as a word and the rest says it as two letters?
Well il stands for Ilyushin so maybe thats why.
Same deal with PPSh-41 , the Sh is one letter in cyrilic (russian alphabet) but we have no "sh" letter in english, hence PPSh, pronounced "papasha forty one."
finally

>Battle of Moscow
Nothing better than defending foreign lands from filthy capitalism comrade
Poor little Poland. Google Ziemie Odzyskane.
And they are still far from Americans, who occupied half of the World, "defending" their country.
You're my little poor hunted child. The Soviet Union was to leave alone Polish citizens peacefully resting in comfortable resorts of Auschwitz, Treblinka, Majdanek?
People will mock Americans all day for being patriotic and making shit up... ha...haha....hahahahahaha. XD
Why we cant have a Linux Port ? So many of us are sick of Failjinś Failthunder
Remember playing IL2 like 12 years ago and it looked exactly the same as the game today. What a failure of a game holy crap.
lol ?!
Слабовато.
Кадры геймплея намного лучше бы передали атмосферу игры, чем нереалистичный ЦГ-ролик.
So basically same planes, same arenas as before, but new game for $$?? Thanks, no! Im not even mentioning that last game wasnt that great at all.
No, different planes and a different map.
