You didn't recognize the tune? In the west playing music like this is fairly common, we call it 'bluegrass' in case you are eastern European and not familiar. Anyways most of the strumming tunes played around and in various bands have a history and are recognized as a modification or direct copy of other songs. The tune seems so catchy here I assumed it was the same kind of unlabeled folk song.

There are some standards, both in the academic and folk balalaika tradition. This video has a simple melody that reminds me of certain standards, but it seems different enough to make it unrecognizable to me, and more unique. Perhaps, I may just haven’t come across it yet, or it’s something I recognize but she plays more improvisations 👍.
