If you used a wire wheel in an angle grinder it would be much much quicker and easier to get the paint off 👍 The shower room needs some natural light and ventilation 👍
Hazel ☘️ Looking real good and you didn’t have to wait six weeks on them coming … gee he makes throwing that cement on look soooooo easy ! It’s all in the flick of the wrist ! Great vlog 🙏☘️😘
As a brick layer with 30 years experience I use a mixture of 1 to 6 or 7, 1 to 3 is concrete. So if they put concrete on your wall it isnt breathable at all. But you know, everyone is different and do no not tell an old worker how to do it 😁
Just came back from my first, well really 2nd trip to Portugal. First trip 20 years ago. Scouting potential home site. During this trip I spotted a pair of yellow sunglasses. Pleased and surprised at the same time. Keep em coming!
Now you are learning something 😃 to remove the paint use a steel wire brusch in a angle grinder ...and a mask of course...😀see : Paint remover on wall using angle grinder | twist brush | angle grinder attachment ...
If you don't smooth the bathrom walls, tilling them will be a pain in the ass! Also I assume you will do the finish layer with finishing mix? Its easier to apply than the cement filler and will smooth and even everything out. I would have taken all the old cement out and done everything new, people tended to use too much sand to save on cement. Hope you dont have mold or salts in the end. GJ none the less.
forget the teeshirt i wanted the glasses,ow well, ive seen some rendering but that beats the biskuit,i,ll do mine my self after seeing that, take care see you in next vid
Well done 👍 Don’t know why you bricked up both side of the other end of the beam?? Should have left it as a ledge/shelf on both sides, even if only to place a plant or two up there with an urn/vase
Removing old paint is a tedious job, but very necessary.😊 I guess 'less is more' when it comes to the amount of buckets of sand (3, not 4) that should be used in the mortar. Interesting, Who knew🤔 What colour do you plan to paint the walls? Pastel Green would look nice!🤗 Looking forward to your next project...windows! This room is continuing to advance in progress...gr8 to see! Please keep these interesting videos coming!😊👍
If you're having those guys working there for a while, it might be a good idea to think about getting a mixer. Were you mixing the concrete for the plastering?
You need to plan ahead first with hiding your electrical wiring or conduit to swithes and plug ins on the walls before finishing. Your other small residence walls looked so very nice and professional until you addeed the wiring on the outside surface of the walls. That made the whole room and walls look very cheap and not professional. You also need to spray with water the walls and blockes with water Before you put them in place. Good to see your progress each week.
I just found your videos. Do you do this renovatie and/building for yourself or as a job/investment to earn money? Have worked in nl in the building branches? Groetjes Jan

Probably they brought their own mixer...😀
Even the professionals use wheelbarrow and a plow :)

The idea to put glass bricks on the top of the bathroom wall was the best, you have definitely missed out. Such a shame.
I spend 10 minutes a day in there. Get real it completely unnecessary :)
Why don’t you use the corners in the bathroom as cupboards?
Because its a lot more work and don’t see the benefit of that work :)
Hi mate
How much did that whole wooden roof cost you in euros, can you tell me?
What’s the video about it! :)
