- In today's episode i am starting with the bathroom. The first thing we need to do is get the wall structure done. I bought a door and now we fix a temporary frame to lay the bricks around. The most important thing is that i set the door frame straight so that the wall is also going up straight. Wish me luck!

So relieved to see that wall finally get some love, it's really beginning to come together!
Hazel ☘️
Great angle on that above shot camera
Funny and interesting intro …. Maybe 20 seconds of the theme tune … I soo miss it … I’ve been conditioned to hear the tune and immediately my head is in ‘Jasper time’ 😂
🙏😘☘️
It`s good to see you and the Girls back!
Was waiting for you to post something new ;).
You are doing a great job ;) !
Need a wood chipper than u could save it all for the garden n once done with the bathroom it’s going to b great ❤
You got that right!
O jasper that out building ruin , the stone work is fantastic and once renovated will stand out well in your village
Yes it is. but there are more that are in better condition.
Hi Jaspare it is looking great a little suggestion would it be possible to add either down the door on the wall block glass blocks or over the door way for light it could look pretty cool best wishes 🇨🇦🇵🇹
Ooopps too late I just saw till the end 😂
Glass blocks for light above the door--what a great idea--and cool looking.
Hello Jasper,
Why do'nt you make a sliding barndoor at your bathroomwall?
You have created space enough for such a door. It wil save space in the end.
Greetings from the Netherlands😊
You apparently havent seen the second to last video.. or you were not paying attention while it was playing...
@@GhostTownVlogs did I mis one video? Could be... Busy repairing my self build shed overhere😉
Great job, Jasper!
Your vision, design and effort. I enjoy your journey! Keep pushing forward.
Jasper if you build against a door jamb knock in a nail every time you lay a brick it helps to bind it to the wood. Regards from South Africa
I was going to say hello as you were returning to Vanessa in Maxmat with your door but saw you were filming so left you alone.
As long as I’m by my self filming you can always interfere :)
Hi Jasper and girls 😊 wow be proud of yourself for something you haven't done before its mighty fine 👍 keep smiling 😎
Lookin' good Jasper...
You and your friends are doing amazing work. Keep up the good work.
Will you be putting a light fixture on bathroom ceiling? If so, figure that into ceiling height so you don't hit your head on it 😊
😂
Lekker bezig, ik denk dat je plafond wel wat hoger mag, als je ook nog onder de douche wil staan. En iets van een ventilator installeren anders heb je straks een zwarte badkamer
Great job.
I hope remember to put dish detergent in your notary Jasper 😂😂
Sorry that was meant to be. I hope you remember to put dishwashing liquid in your motar Jasper.😂auto correct got me again
You need work table, working trestle. Your back. Good job you do.
Looks to me like you are doing a great job. I have two Horses here in the USA that are elderly that I cannot leave, they are 34 and 37 years old. When the time is right I would love to visit and help as I have never traveled out of my Country. Of course that would be entirely up to you..
work smarter , not harder ;)
Ok nice work carry on with it injoy it Wen can I can came and stay in, good rest of this new week.
Nice to see the progress happening for you!
Great sound.
Jasper use uma máscara para o pó. Esse ambiente dá cabo dos pulmões 😮
I just hold my breath ;)
Excellent intro. Regards from South Africa
Your Portuguese is good!
Thank you :)
Hello Jasper, Just a thought, the ceiling height in the bathroom would ideally be taller, maybe 2.400mtrs as the shower head height and the floor raising up 5cm it may be very tight, a few more blocks and leaving the existing wall would look a bit better. Better to do now rather than regretting later, Just my thoughts, good luck mate!!
Hi, well I don’t thinking would look better, and I’m Holland I always worked with 220, it enough :)
I love you videos 🤘🤘🤘 greetings from germany
Enjoyed the video on the bathroom wall.
Good stuff Jasper :)
to help with space in you bathroom. did you know you can get a toilet sink combo. i have one and it litterally frees up the space of a sink
use the trees you cut down for fire wood for your wood burner heater.
Can’t wait to see the next part finished… 👏👏👏
Looking really good nice one 👍
You're getting so witty and creative with your intro's !!! Best one yet!
Thanks! this one costed some time to make, glad it pays off :)
Gostei do seu Português.
well done nice job
Good job! but... you are a tall guy and you need space to put a showerhead over your head and a height of 2,20m may not be enough. I would doublecheck how much space you need for a showerhead.
More then enough :)
Where is plumbing for water , toilet and shower?
Do i need that in a bathroom?
I love the video but I am a bit confused that you are putting in walls and doors before the drain and toliet etc..@@GhostTownVlogs
Where's the ventilation?
Where is the patience?
You make a good show
Olá gosto muito da tua boa energia top👍
Muito obrigado, eu tambien :)
Jasper, you are hilarious @ the outset of this video! 👍🤣
Nice job, but another viewer raised the question of why you boxed the bathroom in b4 you put in your plumbing?
Do you have another plan for that? Either way, that wall looks so much better after being cut to size, etc. Well done!
Jasper, I think you have an obligation to keep the old building and not to demolish it. You are a custodian of this historic asset. Underpinning every other 1m would be very simple to prevent further subsidence.
One thing about all those properties, is all the fire hazard clearing needed. I always say the bigger the house, the more windows to clean. Ouch...
Luckily it’s small windows :)
Lots of work for only one person.
Yeah !!! Looks good !
Jasper is becoming a Pedreiro 😂 good job
Looking good.
Lekker bezig 👍🥰
Jasper, if there was a person that wanted to buy a house in that village is there one available?
Nope not at the moment, I would probably buy it myself. But there is lots available in the villages around :)
looks good. nice job
Looking good! Crazy weather though. I have family visiting relatives in Portugal and had to cancel some sightseeing because of the torrential rains. ☔
Your all video like
The new wall is looking great! But did you forget to dig the holes for the sewage and wastewater pipes?
No.. it is just my curious ways of doing a project :p
Loved your opening and editing. Do you have any more volunteers coming to help you along since you want to be in by end of year? And do you have any ex-pats who want to buy a home in your abandoned village? A few neighbors would be a plus I would think. Can't wait to see it finished.
Hi, thanks! Yes more people coming, but if it helps to get in there in time..
see ya
please please please , wear a mask when you are cutting and creating all that dust .
No need i hold my breath :)
Can I live in that little rain on the hill looking over the village please find out Who owns it? I will Buy it 😢😂
From May until mid-October, I did fogueiras to burn all the bushes I had to cut from my property. Can't you do the same?
I have to wonder about underfloor heating does it actually get that cold in Portugal??
Have you thought about how you are going to install the sewer pipe into this “bathroom”?
Yes I have :)
@@GhostTownVlogs generally the sewer installation is the first project before the walls, aren’t you going to trench for the sewer line?
En suite bathroom enough room for a sweet bath?!
Use a grinder!
For the mimozas?
I love all. Your videos but the the one that made me laugh the most was when you were introducing something and the words came out aIn the wrong order.
🐶🐶🍻🍻🍻
Die armen Bäume 😞
You know this kind of tree? ..the are very invasive, like bamboo.
@@GhostTownVlogs ah okay 😊 danke für deine Information 🌹
so a bathroom floor without slope and no drainage hmm innovative
You think you create a slope by poring the floor in a slope..?
that ceiling will be too low give yourself 400 t0 500 mm
Lintel
Trowel
No windows for the bathroom I guess
That might be an educated guess :)
No natural light, ventilation, pipes or drains in that bathroom??? 😧
no, none of that :)
@@GhostTownVlogs 🙄🤧🤢, too bad it's so close to the kitchen then 💩
That supposed to be bathroom? Why would you box in before you do plumbing? Backwards!
As you will see soon.. it wouldn’t have made a difference ;)
He has no idea what he’s doing for all those years. I haven’t watched for months and still look at the same crap. All side-projects, but after years nothing is finished.
dude wear a mask when cutting masonry !
Dude, I’m allergic to masks!
man, put another row of bricks in the wall .. if the floor goes up it will be short for you
It fine :)
build the bathroom first otherwise you restrict your movement while trying to build
Have you seen my posture? :)
Haha...tja Jasper...jij blijft gewoon maar wat aanklooien.
101 verschillende projecten tegelijk...niets echt degelijk afwerken.
Volgens mij komt hier ook nooit echt wat van.
Maar toch succes verder.
Ik zie het probleem niet.. evengoed bedankt :)
Hello my dear friend I like your work I just coming for your country you help me. I am from Bangladesh.
