Thank you so much for this video. I just started diamond painting in February. I really needed a wonderful system like this. I really enjoy your video's. ☺
If you turn the green boats so that the open face is backwards, the baggy won’t fit into the boat. Also if you have two boats that are bottom to bottom, they will take up more space instead of nesting.
I just created storage like this for my left over drills. I only need one box so far, but then I have only done 2 square paintings so far and only a few rounds that were worth saving. The rest went into the trash drills that will be used for something or other.
I've watched your drill storage for a while and finally I've decided to change my storage to it so I've ordered. 2 photo boxes and mount board from Hobbycraft and. some bags from ebay. It will take a while to organise but once done it will be so much better than my existing storage.
Wow!! Fantastic video!! Love, love, love, your storage system. Going to order labels from you guys!!! Do you sell the DMC color chart??? Thank you for sharing your great ideas!!!
I have a suggestion... to help your long dividers stay in place, why not glue a blank number card at the front and back of the box... you would have 3 across the front, and three across the back. The gap between these glued cards would be like a channel for the long dividers to sit in and they would stay upright, even if you don’t have anything in say your third ‘lane’.
do you use the A4 foam board for separating the bags? if so, what is the length. I must say, I am seriously impressed how detailed you are describing the various sizes (and giving the sizes in inches!) you use in your photo boxes. Love watching your RUclips videos. Thank you. Barbara
The measurements for the foam board is detailed here: 4kidsat147.com/diamondpainting/sparestorage I mix between inches and cm when measuring stuff. LOL. Depends what is a 'neater' number.
Hi can give the numbers in centimetres because I’m planning on trying to do the same but I have a lot paintings and getting more I need space it’s a very awesome idea do u do the same for rhinestone and ab’s and special shapes cos the system I had was a disaster
What do you need the sizes of? I have all the sizes on my website here: 4kidsat147.com/diamondpainting/sparestorage and if you type the size into google and ask for it in CM it will let you know them. :)

After writing you I found a place on Etsy that has the 2-1/4 x 3-1/2. I’ll give you the link if you want to get that size, I’m really excited to make a storage box for my extra DMC drills. I don’t have any yet, but I’ll be ready when I do.
I know diamond dots has their own number system, they don’t use DMC. What do you do though if they have different dye lots? Do you still put them together? Or do you separate them into a different bag but with the same number. I’m sorry if that’s a weird question. Also; other than DD do most kits use DMC code? I got a couple off Amazon, and the colors seem SUPER similar to DMC code! Thank you for sharing this. I just started and it’s an addiction for sure.
Even if it's different dye lots, I still put them in the same bag. I figure when I need a spare I can pick the best match and I'll be tipping them into a tray anyway. Many companies do use DMC codes, even if they don't name them that way.
Rebecca, I have been lurking for a bit now on your channel and haven't made a comment. But I have a question-- I am keeping my spares that have DMC numbers, but I just finished a small kit from Amazon that didn't list DMC. What is a safe way to get rid of them? I've heard they are bad for the environment if just tossed out with the trash. I put them in a container with a lid on it for now, but I'm concerned about what to do when it fills up. Any suggestions?
Sorry the inserts are 2.25” across not 2.5” as stated.
What’s the measurements for the photo box?
I just ordered 3 boxes from Hobby Lobby. Thanks for all your info on this it helps me a lot...
You are so welcome!

I do love your storage Rebecca. All your videos are so interesting and informative.
You could also use any spare boats you have like even the white ones with the spout on the end.
You are the absolute master in order ❤️ Ty for sharing
You are so welcome
Thank you so much for your v8deos. I'm just beginning diamond painting, and your videos have been extremely helpful. ❤😊
You are so welcome!
I love the idea of putting a green boat between the numbers
Have been listening to your videos all day. Thank you for your company, inspiration and humour. 🌟☕️😀🌻💛

Great tip about using the green trays! I used your idea for drill storage. Came in handy several times. TFS ❤
Whoa 💜 yours is so much neater than mine! Lol. And also great minds... I had to do the same thing today!
I know that the form board is a4 but is it a sertin thinkness

This is one of the best ideas I’ve seen for spare drills. 🙂I’m glad you have room to grow now too.

It can be quite a fun project when you get started.
I love my storage that I totally stole from you. ;). Thank you for the wonderful and helpful tips
Where do you find the foam boards in the US? Maybe I just don’t understand what I need to look for. Thanks for the help.
I’m not sure sorry. Hopefully someone will be able to help you. Have you tried googling foam board as I think it’s named the same.
You can find these at Amazon, WalMart, Michaels, Hobby Lobby Joann's or any craft scrapbooking store. Just make sure it is 5mm thick.
I just found this. Now I know what I did wrong. Thank you!
Wow, you’ve got a lot of extras!
2 years of Diamond painting has caused quite a backlog. I need to find another project to use them. LOL
Very cool arrangement. I think I'm going to do something very similar. Thanks for sharing!
Ime working on the same sorting system. Its my first painting butt i get a lot of leftovers from Friends and family and i have more than 70 colors now
I'm looking at sorting out my spares storage, but I'm going to try using some old shoe boxes I have and cover them with wrapping paper.
Wow!! Fantastic video!! Love, love, love, your storage system. Going to order labels from you guys!!! Do you sell the DMC color chart??? Thank you for sharing your great ideas!!!
We don't sell the chart, sorry, but we do stickers and all sorts for this system.

So neat and organized...love it❤
Hi trying to find the baggies you use could you help me when possible as can find the link
These are the baggies: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Small-clear-zip-lock-grip-seal-bags-assorted-sizes-qties-self-seal-re-sealable/171227321587?hash=item27ddf194f3%3Am%3AmbujVrMdV7mJpSgf-1vnLtw%3Ark%3A2%3Apf%3A1
Hi could you confirm the size of the baggies please. I went on to the link you gave but the only options were 2.25 x 3" or 3 x 3.25". Thanks :)
The thinner bags I used 2.25" x 3" For the thicker bags they're 2"x3"
Thanks for the inspiration!
Found foam board at Michael’s. Looks thinner than your dividers in video!! What is thickness of your foam board?? Thanks much for your help ❣️
Mine is 7mm thick.
Were you get diving at ?
These videos are awesome, thanks for sharing!
Hi i can not find the link for your baggies please can you send me link some how
I got them from here: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Small-clear-zip-lock-grip-seal-bags-assorted-sizes-qties-self-seal-re-sealable/171227321587?hash=item27ddf194f3%3Am%3AmbujVrMdV7mJpSgf-1vnLtw%3Ark%3A2%3Apf%3A1
What size please
@@rebeccagabbitass444 Sorry, They are the 2.25 x 3 ones.
I guess the baggies are a different size in U.S. Your baggie size is 2.25” x 3.50.”. The closest size I can find is 2” x 3”. Will that size work?
The ones I’m currently switching to are 2”x3” so in short - yes. 💕

You could pass them onto someone who makes their own designs up. Or try to match them to other spares by sight.
good afternoon love your videos
I love your videos! What did you use to make the labels for your boxes?
I used a piece of card in them, and then a Dymo Label maker.
@@addmorezest Thanks very much! I have a P-touch, I'm sure that would work too. I love your system!
I love these videos so much x tfs
I have that box
