100% agree on Paldea Evolved and Paradox Rift boxes to pick up. PE is such a deep and good set, same with PR but with the new Paradox pokemon cards that got leaked for Prismatic Evolutions, the old Paradox cards might be on the rise
Paldea evolved has been really good to me I recently sold the magikarp in a psa 10 slab for 1500 big ones and currently holding the ttar and raichu in 10s def underated right now especially with the gem rate
What are your thoights on fusionvstrike homie? I hot a few etb cos someonebat work owed me $ abd i know shes a bum so i accepted sealed etb's fusion strike with the mew on the box

People reeeeeeally overplay nostalgia as a selling point. As someone who grew up in the 90s with the first generation I absolutely don't base what I buy around the original pokemon, I buy based on set value, popularity, how many chase cards a set has, how much those cards are worth etc I'm not going "omg bulbasaur!" and just buying anything with bulbasaur in it, like what are we doing here man? I swear to god all I ever hear is nostalgia, nostalgia, nostalgia every single pokemon youtuber is the same, it's no where near as much of a selling point as you all seem to think, certainly not with serious collectors who would be spending the kind of money you're talking about on 20 year old sets in the future, I HIGHLY doubt anyone is going to go "I sure did like terrapagos when I was 8 years old, so as a 28 year old I'm gonna buy that $6000 stellar crown booster box because of how much I loved that space turtle!" 🙄 No. Just no.
I personally think nostalgia has a role in being a selling point to some people but it’s not the only selling point like you said that will determine future value.
@@PokemonEliteTrainer Yeah I'm sure nostalgia has some minor role, which I think at a retail price level might affects sales to some degree, but when you're talking about long term investments, big bucks, and serious collectors in the future who would buy expensive old products they're obviously not going to just buy whatever thing has their favourite pokemon in it. But I swear to god it's all I ever hear form pokemon youtubers, literally every single one it's driving me mad!
Yeah no one cares about nostalgia, that’s why 151 is… oh wait that’s doing really well. But surging sparks is doing great, surely that’s nothing to do with it being the first pikachu chase card of the era. And all the hype for prismatic evolutions is NOTHING to do with eevee… I think you have to close your eyes and stick your fingers in your ears if you believe Pokemon TCG popularity isn’t to do with nostalgia
@@Caanths You do realise there's original pokemon in just about every single other set right? And pikachu and charizard are the ONLY original pokemon that cause this kind of insanity, and even that has died down lately. Did you see anyone scrambling to get obsidian flames which was crapped full of charizards? The reason 151 sold so well is because it's an actual good set with good cards, and because S&V had been a rotten garbage dump of sets before that, people were bored and jumped on the first new set that had any actual appeal and potential value.
Groudon from PR is the most underrated from all ur list
Just wish it was an SIR with texture
Great video! Love the info and the visuals, and the rankings seem to be pretty reasonable! Much love
Nice visuals and presentation! Looking forward to more of this
Glad you liked it!
Don't sleep on Shrouded Fates
Not all sets will appreciate the same so I had to rank it lower
The fact Shrouded Fable has no Booster boxes makes me think the ETB's are a great buy. They're dirt cheap everywhere right now too.

Very nice presentation. thorough and good visuals. thank you..new sub earned :)
I appreciate the support!
Bro no short terms gains ? I ordered 18 surging sparks booster box’s at 100 preorder flip for 175 each on 12. The 3rd case was free for me
You played it right at with preorders but at $200 a box I think the short term gains from here won't be as significant.
S&V Base, first US set with non yellow boarders. Interesting.
You have doubts about the Bubble Mew? That's the most iconic card of the era, if you ask me.
If the bubble don’t pop it’s on its way to the top!
@PokemonEliteTrainer 😂😂

Paying off their debt with pokemon cards?! lol It's a good set. Already appreciating in value.
fates is my favorite set :D pokemon snap froze and the bubble mew never popped :O
THIS IS A HOBBY, NOT THE STOCK MARKET
for real man, when i see videos with a title like this i lmao
it is a hobby with appreciating value in its collectibles similar to art and classic cars.

"Investing" 😂
I was skeptical 4 yr ago as well
All trash sets
Even 151?
