Alright people, we know that together and as individual artists these guys are great talents. So let's all take just a minute to shout out all the people that made this stop motion video to go with this fantastic song. Stop motion is one of the most time consuming methods for making videos and this one was very well done, so thanks to everyone that had a hand in this production!
Tim released this one to his Patreon a year or so ago, as a version with instruments, so he arranged that at least, though he may have worked with Darren Rust on the HF arrangement. It's a lovely song and one I think a lot of people will find relatable. I don't know whether you knew Tim worked as a song-writer for a while before he went back to acapella, and there have been a couple of his songs on all of Home Free's albums. This one is also the first of the songs from their new album, due out on the 4th November, and this time 12 out of the 14 songs are originals written by Tim and/or Austin (with other writing friends including Chris Chatham, Jeffrey East and Adam Wakefield of Texas Hill).
A reactor couple that are getting married soon stated that they already have an original Home Free song chosen for their wedding, Snow Globe also written by Tim but this song will be included in their playlist too. Silver Destiny reactions.
What a great original song! Tim is a very gifted songwriter. Such beautiful & heartfelt lyrics. Always love when Tim takes the lead & all the others adding their special touch. Adam's vocal percussion is always spot on. He even added the sound of a tambourine. The video is very clever & creative. And how about how handsome all the guys look.
What a fantastic song. Tim is not only a great singer and entertainer, but obviously a great songwriter as well. I'm always fascinated by the versatility of the Home Free guys. And everything they touch is perfect. Thanks for the great reaction!
This is a very well-written song! Tim is an excellent song writer! I really wish they would get some radio airplay because this would be a bit hit and could even be a crossover hit on the Pop stations. A long time Home Fry could only hope! Thy guys really deserve the recognition and they sound great in the car when I listen to them. I don’t miss the instruments (or don’t realize that there aren’t any because that’s how great they are). Love your reaction and the fact that you mentioned it would be a great first dance song at a wedding!
Tim wrote both !!! He's so very talented ! Mortius, I agree if I was getting married again, this would be either in the service or my 1st dance song....I wish they had held this one for Valentine's Day. This is their 1st release on their new album, "So Long Dixie", which is an ALL ORIGINAL album with songs written by either Tim or Austin. Thanks Mortius !
@@miamidolphinsfan no, Tim released it privately for his patrons. I just checked it and my memory served me wrong. He released it 3/1/21. And when you pay for this perk, you respect his wish and don't share it as long as he is not officialy releasing it. He wrote it together with Mark Nesler & Marty Dodson (supposedly some of his friends)
The Hound and The Fox ft. Adam Chance also released an original song for their Halloween album, A Whistling Lad. Tim Foust is certainly a gifted songwriter and this was a beautiful 💕 love song.
I love this! It's absolutely beautiful!!! It's one of those songs that just makes you smile and touches everyone in some way. There's plenty of their songs that should have been, but if this one doesn't get nominated for a Grammy or a CMA there's no justice!!!
Of course very good, like everything from Home Free. Tim whose voice is perfect for this beautiful song with lovely lyrics. The great harmonies and background vocals of Austin and Rob, not too much and not too little. Chance's amazing bassline. Handsome Adam with his incredible beatboxing. And then there's the video, which is so well-designed and nicely put together. Together they form a great and complete picture. Home Free do it again.
Ha! You're the first reactor to mention this song being played at someone's wedding. Thank you! That was one of my first thoughts the first time listening to it. The CD this is on, So Long Dixie, is on presale on HF's site, due to go out November 4. I don't know if I'm holding a different copy, one sold only at their shows maybe, because, while everyone is saying all of them are by Tim and/or Austin, 2 out of the 14 cuts are not. (The videos for Folsom Prison Blues and Somebody Walkin' This Land have been out a long time.) This song was written by Tim Foust/Mark Nesler/Marty Dodson according to the back of the CD case. All the songs on this CD are WONDERFUL!!!
Tim's written (or Co-written) several songs for Home Free. One of last year's Christmas videos: "Snow Globe" was his And in 2019, Home Free did a video of "What's the World Coming To?," co-written by Tim Foust, Eric Arjes, and Mark Nesler, .that I think would really tug at your heartstrings.
Tim definitely wrote an absolutely phenomenal song. It definitely got me in the feels, it was so sweet. Thanks again truly enjoyed watching your reaction and analysis.
This song hit the the Spotify new hot music list. so excited for this whole album made up mostly of originals coming out in Nov. This one hits right up there with Dreamer (another original from their last album) for me.
I like that you talk about the mechanics of the notes and how they all mesh together to form a truly superb sound. I hope you critique "How Great Thou Art" performed by Home Free sometime. You will be blown away by the interweaving of the melodies in that song as well.
Warning: What’s left of my heart, isn’t even in my top 3 songs of the Tim or Austin co written tracks on Home Free’s album! It is fabulous! They are such great songwriters! You will be getting more requests in the future!
Nice video Mortius! And props to Mason for the editing for the end! That was hilarious! I agree 100%, this will be a 1st dance song within the next year. Also, it's showing you're working on your lower range Mortius! Good low notes!
Love, love this. You always have awesome reactions and analysis. Geoff Castellucci's Ghost Riders in the Sky is out and OMG the visual effects are epic. Can't wait for your reaction on it
It’s such a sweet song. I love the lyrics too. I especially loved it when he said I’m a “fixer upper” as the heart was being stitched up. Such a cute video too. So clever. Yes, it would be perfect for a wedding or anniversary. Good reaction😀 I don’t know if Tim just wrote it or arranged it also. Someone will know.
You seem to be a fan of beatboxing (who isn't?) - if you haven't yet seen the live version of Home Free's "9-5 beatboxing breakdown", they allll beatbox. I love this song. I think it speaks to everyone save those very few lucky souls who have led charmed lives.
Sorry for a 2nd comment - most of Home Free's latest album is all originals, either written or co-written by Tim Foust or Austin Brown. Their videos of "Save the World", "Love Me Like That" (the live version of the latter is heart-breaking) and the one you've watching are on that album.
Hi mortius :) Halloween is coming up and I'm looking forward to the voiceplay "Kidnap Mr sandy claws" reaction, but I just wanted to ask if you might consider reacting to "making christmas" by pentatonix. It's so brilliant and also perfect for Halloween season. (if you don't already know it, of course).
Honest question: what you do think or expect a reaction/analysis to look like, if not pausing to discuss thoughts and reactions? I ask this to every single comment who complains about pauses and so far no one has given me an answer 🤷♂️

Agreed - a very cool and stylish video to match a great song.
Absolutely!!
Leaves on trees = summer, leaves fall off =fall, snowman = winter, and last, beautiful spring flowers = spring (a new beginning)
I love this. Tim's lyrics are so fresh. Not the same old, same old love song. "I'm a fixer upper." So talented.

Tim wrote an amazing love song. Beautifully written arranged and preformed.

Love that tambourine sound! I haven't heard any reactor catch it so far.
Every song Tim writes can touch our feelings in some way. He is a genius at lyrics.

Such a beautiful love song and Tim put his heart and soul in this song.❤️

if I'm not mistaken Tim Foust released it on Valentines for his Patreons (with instruments and all)
@@jr8627 wow this was released over 6 months ago???? Interesting no one has reacted to it, and that it was kept secret that long...almost unbelievable

Another TIM FOUST original I fell in love with this song almost immediately. WOO HOO! GO TIM GO
This song of Tim's is so very different from the hilariously cynical "Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget" or "Full of Cheer". I love it.

People who dismiss Home Free as "just a cover band" have never listened to the guys' own work. LOVE Home Free originals ❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️
Other songs written by Tim: "Snow Globe" and "Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget". Very cute lyrics on both.

Home Free songs are gonna be playing at my wedding and funeral.
Tim is an amazing writer. I'm seeing them next Thursday and can't wait to see them live

Recommend Scott Hoying’s new original, Mars.
Mortius, did you pick up on Tim being mirrored in this? Watch the pattern on his shirt and the part of his hair.

I actually already checked that one out a while back and loved it! ruclips.net/video/qWurzjZwQC0/видео.html
