- Is Geoguessr making a comback in 2024!? The game has really fleshed out over the last few years.
We play two different multiplayer modes here! One is Battle Royale. In Geoguessr Battle Royale, everyone gets three guesses. You only know who is the current closest player and how close you are to the next-closest player. Whoever is furthest away every round gets eliminated until there is a winner!
The next multiplayer mode is Team Duels. This one is a lot simpler! We split into two different teams and discord calls. Each team has a set amount of health. Whichever team gets closest to the location that round inflicts damage to the other team depending on how far apart they are!
Let me know what you guys think! We've been having a lot of fun with this game on Twitch lately. I've been slow to upload it here because I was unsure whether to leave them uncut or curate the videos a bit. We're raising a new puppy atm, so it's been hard to be consisted on YT lately.

I am also here for your addiction to geoguesser, it's so fun to watch. The trees will tell you whether you're north or south of the equator
It's amazing how far this game has come. I remember when the DERP crew was first playing it and the only way to do multiplayer was couch co-op. Those were some fun videos, but the chaos of multiplayer battles might be even better.
Honestly some of my favorite content to watch atm, even though Ze called us Dutchies Neanderthals recently huhu.
Such fun and chill streams even when it's competitive. Plus it's exciting when your own country pops up and you're like 'omg those signs are in my language, this never happens, get the camera!'
On that Boston guess around 1:4:23, there was a small boat on a trailer next to a black car. The important part is that this boat had a registration number (same thing as a license plate for a car but you write/sticker it on yourself) near the front. In the US those numbers have two letters in the beginning, a state designation, and that particular one said MS.
Seeing boats up close in GeoGuessr is not common, but may be of help some times.

I was so surprised when Kara just openly asked her chat to help her, surprised it took them 30 minutes to realize she was doing that.

@@carissaashman6360 I don't remember, it was during the one of the first non-team rounds she first did it, she just randomly blurts out "chat, help me with this one" and I guess the others didn't hear it as Greg just continued talking after that.

You should try Timeguessr! Its got a daily set and then also just a regular play, you gotta guess location AND year of a single photo. Oh and you can challenge friends!! I dunno if its Real Time or a link with your same photos

It's been so great to see the revival of this series, especially since it's brought together so many friends to play and really enjoy the competition! I love seeing Ze in his element, spotting license plates and languages so quickly and pinpointing locations with amazing accuracy! I've learned so much watching all these games and I've laughed a ton at the scrambling and desperation to make a guess before time runs out, lol. I'm so glad you're doing more of these lobbies, Ze, and I hope we continue to see these kinds of videos popping up on your channel again!

Spanish and Portuguese are very similar, here's a tip, if the word has an "i" in the middle it is Spanish, and in Portuguese we don't use "ñ" but "nh".
another tip you can use to differentiate spanish and portuguese is the fact that portuguese uses tildas on vowels (more commonly a’s and o’s from what i’ve noticed, correct me if i’m wrong) and spanish doesn’t. i’ve also noticed that portuguese uses “ç” when spanish doesn’t.

If i remember correctly, early America asked for the weights for metric from Spain, and British privaters attacked the vessel carrying them, so they never reached the colonies.
