Opinion piece? It was a hit piece. You don't claim abuse, and call it an opinion. Accusations are not opinions. Opinion is if you believe it or not. Is this the opinion that Amber Heard isn't a manipulative narcissistic female?
Gwyneth Paltrow asking for only 1 dollar in damages is such a baller move
I’m not a big fan of her work, but her character is undoubtedly good
It's crazy how she's so hated that I actually thought she LOST that trial! Tbh tho, suing for $1 kinda makes that dude look like even more of a liar, as he "insists" he has the truth on his side.😂
It’s a pretty common practice. She didn’t need any money from the guy but she needs acknowledgment that she won the case. In order to show that she won she needed to be rewarded something. It’s the same principle behind some CEOs only taking a $1 salary or some people giving away certain ideas or items. Giving it away for $0 would be considered charity which is a different set of paperwork but selling for $1 means an actual business transaction happened.
@@heathernks8I‘m mad they ended with his statement. Dude was, sorry to say, a nutcase with a long history of rather bizarre behavior (and probably egged on by a „friend“ to sue). The statement makes it seem to those who didn’t watch the trial that it might have been the wrong verdict
A good example for "It is a matter of principle."
Nothing will ever convince me OJ was innocent.
Same here. The acquittal had less to do with OJ and more about punishing the LAPD for the Rodney King incident and other illegal actions at the time, like the perjury that saw from the officer on the stand. The glove “skit” gave the jury the opportunity to do what they wanted to do.
His son did it or he did but doesn't remember because of injury
@@robertsteinbach7325exactly. That was the exact opposite of justice. Those jurors let a murderer go free because of feelings.
That’s how I feel about Rittenhouse. (I think OJ was guilty, too.)
@@LamtitudeI feel the jury though, you won't implement justice on your own then why should we on one of our own, feels poetic. One of the jurors has literally said that's why she voted not guilty so it's not even speculation. To be fair though, OJ never murdered again, I'd be willing to bet those cops went out and did some unlawful ass beating again though.
"accidentally sent" sure but we all know even his lawyers thought he was a scumbag
For legal reasons it’s accidental because that kind of malfeasance, if deemed intentional, would get people disbarred and result in vacated sentences and mistrials. But we all know that you don’t do that on accident.
@@gabepollock1641 that "sure" is supposed to be read sarcastically
What I heard it was from legal eagle is that it was a data dump on the law firm. Trying to bury them in documents and information. And it totally backfired on them cuz I sent something they shouldn't have. So I don't think only Alex Jones was a scumbag. I think his lawyer was too. He was just an incompetent scumbag. Seems to be a running theme for these right-wing conspiracy theory nut jobs. Look at Trump's lawyers. I mean they're all pretty bad
I don't know, it didn't look like the glove was that bad of a fit to me. He was already wearing gloves when he went to try it on too.
Also the gloves very possibly had shrunk due to the dried blood
OJ wore the latex gloves so the evidence wouldn't be contaminated.
A family member bumped into Kato Kaelin in an elevator years ago and asked him if OJ did it and he said yes 😂
Not only had OJ been photographed in the shoes but also wore the exact gloves on NBC sports as a commentator. OJ also had stopped taking meds which allowed for swelling
Most of us who were adults & were able to watch the trial live at the time, also thought he was being dramatic. We all thought the rubber gloves underneath were problematic. At least his burglary conviction showed everyone his true colors before he died!
There's a special place in hell for Alex Murdock
Hopefully Alex jones joins him and OJ down there soon
@@willdonovan4821 Nope. There's no place in Hell for Alex Jones nor is there a place in heaven for the judge who convicted Murdock since both don't exist. "The rest of your *natural* life"... Some bonkers religious bullshit right there and it comes from someone who's supposed to be a judge. Wtf lol
@@willdonovan4821 alex jones never murdered anyone. this is why people like you dont get to make the important decisions.
The smoking gun in the OJ trial was actually the police officer, Mark Furman. when he took the stand and had to plead the fifth and they could ask him whatever they wanted and he still had to plead the fifth, it was over.
Police corruption all over that case
Yep - Simpson owed more to Furhman for his acquittal that any of his all star attorneys.
That may have led to the verdict, but I've always believed that the prosecution failed to prove "beyond a reasonable doubt", thus the outcome despite his obvious guilt.
@@kerraptregolls4929no, it was the jury who was corrupt. Jurors even said that they had no intentions on getting a guilty verdict, regardless of what evidence was presented.
It’s a shame they didn’t show the video of him wearing the gloves previously. Sure, it wouldn’t have made much difference in the end but it still would have scuppered that argument.
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard trial was crazy
Lol, I have to stay all night to watch the live coverage of that trial. Virginia Courthouse is 12 hours behind my country.
I would say she was full of shit, but…well, you know…
@@drag0nblightstreaming started at 3pm where I’m at. Was a wild time
Yea. And do you remember that other actual important trial, that was going on at the same time? No? Well you are not alone.
Well, Amber was crazy, for sure.
Those gloves sure seemed to fit OJ pretty well when he was wearing them during a game from the sidelines on NBC.
How do we know they were the same pair (and not just a similar pair)?
The issue with that glove is that he wore gloves under it which would make it harder put the glove on.
OJ was guilty, the glove and the racist cop got him off.
Hmm…I would have liked to be a fly on the wall during the conversation between Alex Jones and his attorney after the attorney “accidentally” sent all those texts to the prosecutor!
I'm sure his attorney blocked all his calls or had an intern answer them
I thought the law was all evidence presented had to be shared with both sides prior, so I don't understand how it would be a surprise. I could be wrong, though. I'm no lawyer.
@@daphnej4189 It should be, but the evidence that doomed his defense should have been sent years ago. That's why the judge did not allow for any special remedies during the trial after it was 'free and clear'. It's called a 'Discovery Abuse'. Legal Eagle did a great video on that specific one and why it was so bad.
Even if those texts had never seen the light of day dude was still gonna get found guilty since there were so many other things that obviously proved that he was. Hopefully he joins OJ and Alex Murdoch (idk how to spell it and also don’t care) in hell soon
@@willdonovan4821he was already found guilty because he ignored orders to go to court and thus was found guilty as per summary judgement. The trial was done to determine how much he owed in damages and so he basically screwed himself over before he got screwed over by the phone evidence.
The stupid thing is you can clearly see OJ flexing his hand to be as wide as possible so the glove wouldn't fit on video and they somehow still lost
Because OJ didn't commit murder, he only helped cover it up.
Also he had on another pair of gloves and stopped taking his arthritis medication.
he did an interview a few years earlier wearing those gloves
It’s also believed that when he learned he would be trying on the glove he did hand exercises
@@thatolddude-cq5kv And there a picture of him wearing the shoes he said he didn't own!

Also, Karla Homolka should never have been set free.
She fought the law and, she won. There was another case where a woman was sentenced, served her time, and was out before someone convinced the courts that her sentence was too light. Despite double jeopardy, she went right back to prison. Some actress IIRC.
She didn't fight the law. She played the scared, weepy, vulnerable female and the stupid prosecutor bought it and made a deal with her before the conclusion of the investigation.
@@zazzifizzle Yeah, that's a reference to the song.
Maybe I should have said, "She played courts, and she won.
@@zazzifizzle No deal should've been made without the caveat that if evidence was found to implicate her the deal was off. Stupid stupid prosecutor.
@@conscientiousobserver8772 i think that double jeopardy only applies to defendants who were found innocent.
Alex Jones lied?!! Who’d have guessed
Still somehow he has told more truths than any other main stream "journalist" combined
@@ScoobGruberBroken clocks being right twice a day and all that.
While I don't care about him being innocent or guilty in these trials, I will admit he had one of the best comebacks to that lawyer. The lawyer was saying he was a conspiracy theorist and can't be trusted because he has claimed that the Clintons had connections to criminals and other despicable people. Alex responds with "Oh you mean their connection to Epstein?"
They had as much connection to Epstein as trump, so by his own logic, trump is a criminal
@@ScoobGruber or not...
Glove didn’t fit due to being put through testing & drying. But it has his DNA on it along with the slain!
OJ was guilty. He died covered in his own filth eaten up by guilt cancer from the inside out.
The prescence of DNA isn't proof of guilt. We leave DNA everywhere we go, and if all three of those people lived on that property...... 🤷🏿♂️
So, now that OJ's no longer with us, the issue/question I have in regards to his trial, he was *NEVER* going to be able to get his hands back into those gloves because 1) they were soaked in blood and shrank significantly, and 2) he was wearing latex gloves while attempting to put on the leather gloves... that shrank.
So, of course, all the jury could think about was, "If the gloves don't fit, you *MUST* acquit."
Someone should have put the gloves on OJ, it's obvious he's holding his hands in a way that makes the gloves not fit on properly. How they let him get away with that murder is ineptitude that's beyond my understanding
Ito and the prosecutor stunk!!
@@sludge8506 It really wouldn't have mattered. I read Marcia Clark's book and she states that that jury was never going to convict OJ short of him confessing.
Juror interviews after, said they basically let him go because of the LA riots and what happened to Rodney King.
@@steveburke1519well ofc that’s what Marcia said, as she’s not gonna put in the book that she handled that case very poorly. Ask any attorney with half a brain
Not really in the end everyone will be held to account. OJ didn't get away.

Hauptmann also had pieces of the homemade ladder at his home and he couldn’t name the “Mystery businessman” who supposedly gave him the huge amount of money they found.
He was definitely involved. I’m not sure he was alone though.

With the Depp trial I thought it was the bedsheet testimony.
Amber Turd

The jurors in the OJ Simpson trial said that had the lawyers NOT had him put the gloves on, they would've assumed they were his and that they actually fit him!
There was a receipt for those gloves, purchased by Nicole in New York! Who else could've owned them and committed the murders? 🤦♂️
Casey anthony would be here if the investigators had searched all of the browsing history rather than just internet explorer's.
She would still be here if she didn't have a shit-tastic mother.
Dude found out it was Gwyneth Paltrow and wanted to get some money.... see what social media can reveal?!?
I love these videos. Really interesting!
Kyle Rittenhouse is lucky to be alive right now
Yeah. There’s crazy people out there.
I kinda hope it doesn’t stay that way
Leather gloves always shrink or change sizes.
The OJ trial's "if the gloves fit, you must acquit" defense is utter bogus to me. Looking at it now or at least several years after the trial, the leather gloves would have shrunk from not only the blood that was on them and drying out, but also after they were cleaned by processing it and allowing it to dry. There was also a nifty rumor going around saying that OJ was doing hand exercises to bulk up his hands to ensure that didn't fit as purposed by his legal team. I'm inclined to believe that the gloves shrank due to the moisture and drying them out, thus shrinking them. So if the prosecution made note of that then it would have been a different outcome. Anyone that knows leather will know that you don't want too much water or liquid to get on leather and then drying it out.
He allegedly stopped taking his arthritis medication to cause more swelling in his hands
Dude, you're overthinking it. The argument was bullshit and it was plain to see. What transpired was jury nullification (as admitted by at least one of the jurors) in "revenge for Rodney King."
You can't bulk up your hands bcos hands don't have any muscles.
Think about it, you use your hands 99% of the time, they don't get bigger.
They also froze and thawed them like 4 times in evidence.... they definitely shrunk. Also, they made him wear a latex glove first, further preventing it from sliding on his hand.
Also he was wearing surgical gloves. How they didn't object to that is beyond me.
Proof the "smoking gun" can help people get away with murder. 😂
That glove fit. Cmon man of course it did I don't think it matters if your wrist isn't covered by the glove, it still works for the act of concealing finger prints
That rittenhouse case gets me heated everytime I see it😤
Prime example of a prosecutor throwing a case.
@@pickcollins9910 Pretty much. The prosecutor had to have known there was no case unless the prosecutor had never talked to Prediger before the trial.
Same.. poor ritenhouser didnt deserve any of that 😭😭
OJ had the best team of lawyers I've ever seen in any lifetime. 🎉
🍊 🧃
And on the opposite end, Alex Jones had one of the most incompetent
They successfully shifted it from a homicide trial, to a "is the cop a racist" trial. Pretty amazing stuff.
Robert Kardashian ended up deeply regretting his role in that trial.
Well, racism is very relevant in that case. If the police did not appear to be a racist, OJ would have been convicted as a rapist (for rhyme only😂)
I believe OJ is guilty, but his acquittal is a bad fruit of racism of the US
Love the background music
But ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, THIS IS CHEWBACCA
Wished for the Holmes case the courts would let the patients she coned could’ve sued her not just the investors.
I’m surprised the Duke Lacrosse Trial isn’t on here.
I like podcasts. The Knowledge Fight podcast is easily my favorite.
7:48 is that an transformer talking? Man that voice is DEEP
The gloves had nothing to do with the acquittal. The recordings of Marc Fuhrman making seemingly racist remarks completely changed the dimension of the case, and was enough to put the seed of reasonable doubt into the minds of the jury. The LAPD bought that acquittal thru years of its own bad culture.
World was looking out for us with the Murdaugh and Jones ones 🙌🏽.
Who the hell did those drawings on the Theranos case? Disney? They have proper cartooned them up
It’s definitely a different style than the New York artists
Gweneth P. Only asked for $1, yay. The other guy still has like 1 mill. In court costs, and she said he ran into her and the noises "almost sounded sexual so I just wanted away". So what if she only asked for $1?
OJ wore the same gloves when broadcasting a football game too.
Whenever I need a good laugh I watch Gaige Grosskreutz testify AGAINST himself. 🤣🤣
4:23 Oooh! I remember my HS forensics teacher telling us this case! It was a foundational turn in the forensics classifications, as tracing threads to the murderer was very new. He bludgeoned his family with an ice pick (which was promptly found near the home). The scariest thing is, when he was caught, he said, “I didn’t think you guys would figure it out.” That to me says he killed his family to test something, to see if he could get away with it just cause. So freaky!
Another interesting fact about how they caught OJ Simpson: the bloody shoe prints design wasn’t anywhere in the catalogue investigators had. Luckily, one guy did some digging and found the design matched that of an uncommon, expensive custom shoe that was purchased outside of the country.
He was high on speed and had not slept for like 30 hours or something nuts. One daughter wet her parents’ bed, on his side of the bed, and it set him off. (He had a notorious explosive anger.) There’s an excellent book called Fatal Vision by a journalist who’d been embedded in his defense team and then decided after seeing the evidence that he was too obviously guilty he couldn’t support his side anymore. It puts forward the best theory of what happened based on the evidence.
FYI, you don’t bludgeon someone with an ice pick. There was bludgeoning involved, but by a piece of wood, iirc. The ice pick was used to stab.
He told everyone four hippies came in shouting “Acid is groovy” and he fought them off after they’d killed his family, but he sustained barely any wounds. Thing is, the Manson Murders were written about in a magazine on his coffee table, and it could’ve easily given the idea to blame hippies.
His father-in-law doggedly fought to finally get him convicted in a criminal trial, which was incredibly moving. It’s a tough case, emotionally. If you’re into true crime, you would love the book Fatal Vision, and the follow up Final Vision that even further explains the evidence.
Plus the rest of the evidence in Depp v Heard
People who think Amber Heards lawyers are idiots, dude Alex Jones lawyers take the cake.
I love how with the Rittenhouse case everyone also neglects to mention that Guage (I don't know how to spell his last name) wasn't legally allowed to own or possess a firearm.
He still hasn't been charged with that right? Different rules it seems.
Sure, except that Paul Prediger was legally allowed to possess a firearm in Wisconsin on the night of the shooting. He did not have any felony convictions that would prevent him from carrying and the gun was not concealed. Not that the concealed bit mattered since he did in fact have a valid CCW at the time (even though the cops lied to him and said it was expired). The Wisconsin CCW was issued on 1/10/2018 and did not expire until 1/10/2023, the shooting happened in August 2020 which is between those two dates. If he had any criminal history that barred him from owning a firearm then the Wisconsin DOJ would not have have issued him a CCW, that's simply common sense.
@mimcduffee86 I said nothing about this Paul character I was speaking about Grosskreutz who was not legally allowed to own a firearm
@@ericdraper4023 he never will because before the trial those charges were acquitted
Ngl the clip of Murdoch mysteries was on point.
For those unaware, the audio recordings NOT including in the Depp Heard trial were MUCH more damning against Heard!
Don't know why Amber thought she was going to win. She had no incident. JD had so many incidents
Yeah, was this video done by somebody who was alive during the OJ trial? For those of us that were around the glove thing was ridiculous. I wouldn’t call it a smoking gun….at all.
Rittenhouse could’ve really defended himself by not crossing state lines with an AR in the first place.
Oh my gosh right! Nobody was in the right that night but a 17 year old DOES NOT cross state lines with AR! He full on had intent to murder that night
OJ was guilty as hell
but the gloves clearly fit
Everyone knows OJ did it
The true smoking gun at OJs trial was Furnham pleading the 5th when asked if he did anything shady with the evidence of the case
Did you guys already post a video like this?
Smoking Guns can save trial and your life. Without it, Johnny Depp would eventually loss and the ski guy would have been a millionaire.
And an innocent man would have been in prison for killing 2 people on Brentwood.
lol Johnny depp was not completely innocent in all of that. I will stand by him to this day 🤙🏼
Can also get someone off of murder as this video proved. 😂
I remember watching a 20/20 or a Dateline about the Murdaugh case. When I heard that tape with Alex referring to the dog, I immediately knew his defense was finished. He was there, he was guilty, he did it: all because he called out to his dog.
If O.J. Simpson had been told to take off the other glove, the glove might have fit.
I’m surprised the Duke Lacrosse case isn’t on here. Particularly the point in the one hearing where the DNA lab head admitted to making a deal with the DA
Those where the same gloves OJ was photographed wearing.
Basically if you wanna get away with murder just wear gloves slightly too small.
The doctor who accused Gwyneth Paltrow should be banned from all ski slopes, golf courses and any other venue where an accident might occur.
I remember on a Discovery Channel show a PI getting a pair of gloves made of the same material as OJ’s gloves. Fit him no problem. He then dipped them in beef blood. They shrunk and it was like seeing OJ put them on all over again.
In hindsight, I don’t know if this technology existed at the time, find the make and size of the gloves. Order a new pair and have OJ try them on.
Gonna be kinda hard to do now my man
If I remember correctly the glove maker said they would bot have shrank.
I don’t think the tapes were what won Johnny the case, it was much more just watching Amber lie to their faces (literally as she presented her answers to them instead of the lawyers)while Johnny was very open and apologetic for his wrong.
Favorite trial verdict thus far, gotta be Alex Jones case.
The most damning thing in the Rittenhouse trial was definitely during grosskreutz testimony. Sure the video and picture evidence was damning, but when questioned by defense counsel, "did you he shoot you while you had your hands up?"
'No'
'Did he only shoot you after you lunged forward at him with a gun in your hand?'
'Yes'
This small exchange is a textbook example of using leathal force in self-defense. In the trial video you can see the defense counsel be shocked for a bit because of how easily this key testimony was given up. The prosecution basically has their head in their hands because they knew the case was fucked at this point.
I can't help but feel that if Rittenhouse was black he would've gotten put under the jail
The sick part of our our system is that the prosecution is incentivized to still try to achieve a guilty verdict anyway
