  • Hello my beautiful plant people,
Welcome to yet another Plant Tour where we visit Wynne @foliagefreak from FNQ! Wynne is such a passionate collector and she has a very soft spot in my heart as many refer to her as the Mother of our community. Come with us as we share her story and beautiful collection.
I hope you all enjoy these segments and peaking into the lives and collections of special individuals in Australia.
Let’s chat in the comments and let me know who we should do for the next episode!
Sending planty love and light always,
    Sam x

    Great vid Sam and Wynne.
The story on how I met Wynne is very special to me. I stumbled upon “midnight velvet” on google images. So I dig deeper to find its origins of @foliagefreakplants. I do what any plant person does and asks if they’ll take a stranger into their conservatory for a couple hours.
Little did I know I’d be there for Wynne and Bruce’s spag bowl and staying the night.
This tour captivates the experience perfectly other than Wynne offering a cutting or you buying a new plant half way into the tour. Well done!

Ooh my goodness I didn’t realised that FoliageFreak is from Cairns! I have purchased several plants from her eBay store.
Ooooh, hello from Cairns. It is so wet in here right now!

What an amazing collection, I live in Adelaide and have started putting a few of my plants outside to see if they would handle the conditions and so far they are doing ok so fingers crossed I can have myself a beautiful collection outside, this has inspired me to take more risks with some of my Anthurium's.
