Quick tip: You can add small frozen cheese slices (In my recipe I use smoked Gouda, YUMMO!) on the shrimp then wrap them and cook. Lil extra gooey goodness :)

Just made these on my Blackstone 36” Griddle. My Wife and i loved them. We did BBQ sauce with sweet chilli sauce for a zesty taste. I could not get these right on any grill i owned but here on medium low using you bacon technique and thin bacon, the bacon and shrimp came out perfect!!! Thanks guys for posting this recipe!!!

This is really good, made a second bunch but substituted the bbq sauce for baby rays sweet and sour and sprinkled them at the end with some red pepper flakes. Give it a try, quite good.

As a video suggestion, how about a griddle cleaning tutorial on cleaning after a high sugar sauce or a high acidic marinade or glaze. Also, do you use a thermal gun to determine your heats? Knob position setting? Flame height? New to my 28” Blackstone so your videos are appreciated.

We do have a thermal fun but rarely use it now - we think of the surface like a stove top, focused more on knob settings, which is something we try to incorporate into most of our videos (although not all). Let us know if you have a specific cook temp question! For smashburgers we typically cook in med/high-to-high, and almost all other cooks we start at med/low. Hope this helps some! Congratulations on the new griddle!!🔥🔥
I never got to the sauce. I stuffed mine with blue cheese crumbles then wrapped with bacon. I never got to plate them up as they were pulled straight from from the grill and eaten. The only photo op was of the crowd around me. None survived beyond 24 inches of the cooking surface.
