you have jabs you also have very sophisticated defense and offense combined . Believe me it isnt easy to hit these two! every time you jab their rear hand would smack it away at the same time fire a jab to your face or a hook . Like you got no chances for free probing jabs etc.
Fascinating to see this remarkably clear footage. Both men met violent ends: Ketchel was murdered when he was onyl 24; Papke survived a bit longer but he killed his wife and then committed suicide. Their rivalry and life stories would make a great movie.
I though I was watching a wrestling match. Refs don't let them clinch like this anymore. I understand when the fighter is tired, but these two were at it very early on. Just my 2¢.
