I was there this weekend.. My friends and I have been going to the SPAC DMB weekends for years.. Friday night was the best opening night there I've ever seen.. Saturday was a REALLY strong follow up. Easily one of the best SPAC weekends ever for our crew... If you get a chance, check out the performance of Lie in Our Graves, Tim's solo was virtuoso!!
Too Much should be the fake version every time live. Along with So Much to Say, Jimi Thing, and Don't Drink the Water. So many better song's that aren't played and yet those songs seem to be played at every show.
I agree 100% as I’d rather hear better songs. The issue is these songs get some of the biggest cheers at shows. I can’t stand the post Roi era Don’t Drink but the crowd goes wild. I have also seen amazing deep cuts get a lackluster reaction from the crowd that is mostly there for the hits.
@@concertvids34 I feel a lot of the songs have lost a lot of luster first with Roi and then no Boyd. Makes sense why they keep those songs consistent for the average fan. I feel what used to make them such a special band of not hearing repeats night to night outside of a set closers, the past few years have been a lot of the same setlists. Maybe it was taking time on songs with adding Buddy to the line up?
@@johnlaplacajr845 the band historically has repeated a lot of songs night over night. Have a few streams on that. The difference is every song pre 2005 was almost can’t miss. They actually repeat songs less now compared to a 2000 or 2004 tour where they had tons of repeats. In 2000 the Hartford 3 night stand had Busted Stuff at every show 3 days in a row but busted stuff is a great song. In 2004 Deer Creek N2 had 4 repeats SPAC and Alpine also had repeats across both nights as well.
I was at N1 and the plan was to be at N2 also but I brought someone I should not have brought for a first date and she ruined everything for me woulda been my first Halloween I'm so jealous never again will I trust a woman besides my mother
I remember when the Pit actually danced and showed the band energy. Watching this video there is minimal movement amongst the expensive seats in front. Shame.
Was there both nights. Night 1 was phenomenal. That setlist was wild. Night 2 sets flow was horrible. The guys killed it but up until LIOG it was weird. Loved PFWYG but never get the Halloween hype. Overall a great weekend because it DMB !
For me Halloween is only cool bc Dave loses it and screams crazy, or at least he used to. He can’t really do it nowadays so it’s more so just a “here ya go” for special venues like this. Besides I can only hear the Dave snobs now if he played too much
@@zRelentless dave snobs are doing like a fantasy ultimate setlist on reddit, and so far it's honestly such a meh setlist it's not even funny. The most average setlist from a show this year I'd rather hear than their playlist
I legit just got the same chills and Arm hair sticking straight up I had for this live!
i moshed to this live

No one cares
@@scottarmstrong5876 Apparently you do.. Smooches!
Sounds awesome! I’m jealous you got the Halloween!
Not the same band. Can't enjoy it the same.
@@colemedeiros1 your loss.. There's been changes, but also growth. They've still got it.
Nasty fake out. Pump fake. Shot fake. Got ya!
I jumped up and down!! 🎃 🎶🎶🖤
I haven't had that type of energy for that song since Caravan NJ 🎃🎶🎶🎶
Bless this account
Second
Saw it live. This was amazing.
I was there, completely unexpected he would play Halloween, total fake out
If it wasn’t spac I would have been faked out but i knew he wasn’t ending spac with too much haha.
I would have had to film the whole show because the balcony view is insane! Damn dude I have to see a show from this perspective. 😳
Thank you for sharing this Dave Matthews band show. I love it. XO XO ❤️❤️ Samantha
Not the same w/out the violin though
Just incredible !!!
What a treat!
HA! It sounded a little suspicious-love when they do this shit.
You knew something was up.
This was My 12 year old daughter's first show and her face almost fell off when she realized they were playing Halloween :)
Lie

How did she ruin it?
Wow
They trolled ALL of us.
I had a feeling it was gunna be a fake once they started too much lol. I knew there was no way they were ending on too much haha.

There are some close up videos of a fan jumping for joy when Halloween started. Hard to see the energy from afar and SPAC has a small pit.
Dude always plays this in NY wtf
Such a great song, till TR has to land his spaceship..why Tim, why?
Lmfao
Thought it was cool tbh
space ship has to land sometime

I mean , I love Too Much, loose my shoes most of the time he plays the song, so this would irk me. Halloween is OK.
