I love how it starts out quiet, even a bit sad, as if Lex had the chance for happiness or to do good, only to throw it all away and become the enemy of the world's greatest hero instead.
I feel that people didnt like jessie eisenberg as lex luthor because he wasn't the classically portrayed lex. I liked the fact that the movie decided to do a different take exploring the more mental side of the character.
I liked him. Wasn't a fan of his verbal ticks but loved his motivation , look and dialogue. Was hoping to see a more traditional Luthor moving forward especially after that JL post credit scene.
Ilovesuperman what defines Lex is mainly is his genius, cunning and manipulative side, which are all present in the film if you pay attention. Doesnt mean he makes a few quirks and stutters a bit makes him the joker.
I still think Jesse Eisenberg FITS really well as Lex Luthor in BvS, giving his first steps to become what we could consider... a SuperVillain. & this music. Is everything. ♠ Beautiful Work.
Jesse did a great in portraying that version of Lex Luthor in BvS. And I'm pretty sure that if they wanted the character to develop into the *classic Lex Luthor* through various films (similar to how they *originally* planned to develop the character of Superman to the *classic Superman* ), he could do it. Especially seeing him act in The Social Network.
As I recall, the theme by John Williams was technically a theme for Otis, not Lex Luthor. Which is why John Ottman composed a new theme for him in Superman Returns. That said, this combination was really good.
The theme was intended for Lex Luthor. It even plays as his introductory theme when he meets General Zod. Singer changed the theme in Returns because he felt the Williams theme was too lighthearted.
Incredible!! You should do something similar but with the Joker themes, like a cross between the Danny Elfman, Shirley Walker and Hans Zimmer themes :D Good job!
@@VerisimilitudeFilms1 Actually, I feel like Billy Zane would only have looks in terms of playing Lex. I've seen some of his other performances and nothing really stands out for me it terms of a memorable Lex Luthor. I'm not invalidating your choice. But to me, I think that in terms of Lex Luthor, going with the obvious choice is not a wise one. I dislike Gene Hackman's Lex, was let down by Kevin Spacey's Lex, and truly like Jesse Eisenberg. But the one thing they all brought that Lex Luthor needs is bitterness. If you can direct me to a movie where Billy Zane is chock full of crawling-from-the-wreckage bitterness, then you've got a possible Lex Luthor. Until then, I'll stick with my own choices.
@@blakeadamson1576 Really? "Titanic," "Dead Calm," & "Demon Knight" don't work for you? I dunno, Zane not only looks, but sounds like Lex from the 90's animated series and has that sinister elegance.
@@VerisimilitudeFilms1 Maybe that's why I can't see it. Maybe I don't want to watch another 90's Lex Luthor. Maybe I want something different. Maybe I don't see Lex as elegant. My favorite version of Lex is from Mark Waid's comic "Superman: Birthright", which many people use in defense of Jesse Eisenberg's. It's also because it was the first time I ever heard Clancy Brown's voice coming out of the character. I'm not saying you can't cast Billy Zane as Lex Luthor. It's your idea and no-one can take that away. But I don't think I'd ever be content with him playing the character. Also, I've never seen Dead Calm, Titanic, or Demon Knight. The best theme ever done for Lex Luthor is John Williams March of the Villains. Lex wasnt a psychotic person, he did became one strangly enough tthough and John Ottmans more sinnister theme was kinda good. So maybe he should have been in here two?
I like both but I don't remember John's at all after not listening to it where as I can hum Hans' at any time because it's just more memorable (to me I guess)
@@josephhoffman2992 really. For me its the other way around. I heard The march of the villains once and to this day I know the tune. Its not what I can say about Hans Lex theme. Its not as memorable as John Williams.
Love it! But it’s spelt Villain not Villian. Which you’ve spelt it that way in title, image and description. Sorry my own annoying ocd prevents me from not saying it. Amazing music. I love it. But yeah an annoying voice in the back of my head is driving me mad right now.

I love that BvS Luthor theme. It's got this wonderful classical music sound to it, yet it's perverted and evil. Damn good job combing the two.
Chills. For once, I’m actually terrified of Lex Luthor.
2:25 Now THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT BRAVO Power and elegance but determined
I feel like im the only one who really liked Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, but everyone can agree his theme was fking great

I've never seen a single person acknowledge the Lex Luthor theme from BvS. Just for this, you've earned a sub.
Mother of God!! Look at the time!! When you came here, you had an hour...!! NOW IT'S LESS..!! Hans Zimmer's BvS Lex Luthor theme is my favorite.
Brilliant Mix and arrangement. Your music deserves more exposure.

I always associate that music with the trio of Luthor, Otis, and Miss Tessmacher from the first 2 movies. Great theme, as is the Ottman piece as well.
You can hear the Otis theme, as it was in the Christopher Reeve Superman films - given a more sinister twist here.
The theme was intended for Lex Luthor. It even plays as his introductory theme when he meets General Zod. Singer changed the theme in Returns because he felt the Williams theme was too lighthearted.
We need Lex Luthor solo movie just like the Joker.
starring Bradley Cooper
Just watch Smallville.
A Jeff Bezos biopic?

How did you make "Red capes" even better?!lol

Do one for the joker, possibly Walker vs Zimmer vs Elfman?
How about Walker+Elfman+Zimmer+Price (Suicide Squad)+Guthasdottir
Theres a moment at John Williams theme it reminded me of the music from the untouchables
I love the 70s Luthor theme, even more hearing it in “epic”.
I've always loved the Superman Returns Luthor theme and thought it could be expanded upon.
Amazing...
Best of the best
Perfect! 👏
This is brilliant.
Ironically mixing Williams and Zimmer gave it an Elfman ring.
I love that you can see Superman on his way to kick his ass

In an alternate universe, this would be the music for Lex Luthor as played by Billy Zane.
Unknown User But Zane is intimidating, elegant and shifty. He literally looks and sounds like Lex from the animated series.
