I love your sewing room! The only thing I would like in my room is somewhere for the thread to be kept covered as I don't like my thread to get dusty or sunlight damaged.
Very good 😃 Thankyou , very interesting and you didn’t waffle on for hours about every little thing , you were straight to the point and didn’t waste time , lovely voice
I love your organization tips especially the storage for scraps of fabric. I love the quilting tool storage that your husband made. He could easily market it.
Love your room. I am not organized at all but one thing I do have is an old wooden magazine holder from my parents home that I keep next to my sewing table and scrap bucket that holds all my cutting rulers and big enough to hold my extender attachment from my sewing machine when I don’t use it. I also keep my sewing machine booklet there as well as I reference from it a lot. When I switch projects I put the pattern or booklet I’m using for that project in there as well. The magazine rack has a handle so I can lift it up when I need to move it for cleaning and sweeping ect...
Thanks for the tour of your sewing space! I’m going to try your cutting station idea and 36” tall will be perfect to cut fabric!🥰 I’ve turned the closet into fabric storage with three shelves, also use plastic shoe boxes for my fat quarters and smaller cuts on one shelf. My goal is to eventually have a smaller sewing table at the correct height (instead of using a kitchen table)!!!
I have two of those little shelves in my sewing room and I don't have a cutting table. I'm going to see if your idea will work for me tonight! Thanks for sharing!!!
Hi, I just found you! (I'm in Australia and retired).. I bought an Accuquilt larger one recently (after having the small one for many years). I'm glad to see you use it, so I will be looking forward to seeing your ideas so much!..Thanks for this video- I'm in the process of 'getting rid' of any tiny fabric bits- that are under 2" in size..yes I have 4 boxes of it! How did that happen..looking forward to more de cluttering
Love your material storage. That is what I’m looking for as I’m designing my sewing room as well as the design wall. I didn’t want to leave my material on an open shelf due to dust collecting on them and I am highly allergic to dust mites. So this is a great idea, thank you for sharing.
What a nice setup and such great ideas too! What a beautiful sewing room, and those gorgeous quilts! I’m a new subbie so i dont know if youve done a vid on showing your quilts, but i’d love to see them. Im fairly new to sewing (at age 64) and havent ventured into quilts yet, but would maybe like to try an easy one some day. Thank you for sharing these great ideas, and what a sweet hubby to make things for your sewing room. God bless ❤️
Thanks so much! 😊 Feel free to go back through some of my videos on my channel to see specific quilts! You might want to check out the Paradigm Quilt as a great fast & fun one. Solitaire is also perfect for a beginner!
I really appreciate the binder idea! I’ve been running out of space for my pattern prices and have been trying different ways to store and organize them! I plan on having a sewing room a few months from now. I’ll try to come back and let you know how things go!
I believe I understood you to say you have cork under the flannel design wall. I like this idea. Is it cork tile, or a sheet of rolled cork? Is it used for pinning items to the wall? How is they cork attached? I need to schedule a trip to the hardware store.
Correct! I used rolled cork, it is 1/4" thick and attached to the wall with a staple gun. It'll be a royal pain to fill in all the holes and repaint when it comes time to sell the home, but I think it's worth it! the flannel will mostly do a good job at holding quilt blocks to the wall but as the rows get bigger I use pins :) Hope this helps!
I love your room! What is the size of your room?? by chance do you have a floor plan or drawing of it - wonderful tour thank you for sharing your room with us!!
Thank you! I believe it’s about 120 sq. ft. I don’t have a floor plan of it, but when you walk in, the window is right in front of you, in case that helps you visualize it a bit better 😚
think Im going to use to cube shelf tableidea... At first I wanted to get a table top.. but my room is little. and it just isnt working with all these tables crammed in here! Ihave 2 foldable tables... but they are a pain to open and close.. So Ill probably just use them for guests
Thank you!! I quilt some of them myself and have some done on a long arm - it just depends on the size and how much time I have to finish it. I really enjoy doing straight line quilting on my own machine ❤️
i really like this set up. I have a fairly small room as well. My favorite had to be the cuting table/cubbies. I have one of those cubbies already so it would be very easy to get another one to recreate.
I absolutely loved your sewing room tour and got some fresh ideas thanks so much!!

Storing them in page protectors makes it so easy to find the pattern you want! Happy sewing!
Love your sewing room and amazing organizing

This was such a nicely organized tour! I love watching sewing room tours but so many of them are 20-30 minutes long!
I like to keep things short & sweet 😘💃🏼
Thank you for sharing
Thank you for ideas redoing my sewing room/guest room.
You are so welcome!
Love it!! I’m working on getting my quilting room organized and this gave me several really helpful ideas! Thanks! 🪡
I’m so glad you enjoyed it & found it helpful! Best of luck!!

What a lovely room! Where do you purchase those cabinets with glass doors? I also have a sewing and office room in my house !
I got them from target! Search “Windham tall cabinet” online to find them 😊
Homemade Emily Jane thank you !!
Thank you : )
Where did you get the grippy pad?
Nice area.
Thank you!
Love your sewing room. Do you top stitch your own quilts, or do you send then to a longarm quilter?
Thank you!! I quilt some of them myself and have some done on a long arm - it just depends on the size and how much time I have to finish it. I really enjoy doing straight line quilting on my own machine ❤️
The foot pedal pad where did you get it or pattern
My aunt taught me how to make it! It’s basically a sticky mat with binding on the edges
Love your sewing room?what are the dimensions of this room?
Thank you!! I recently moved but I believe this room was somewhere around 10’ x 12’
You obviously have a lot of room for all that stuff.
It’s a decent size bedroom ☺️
