    This topic always fascinates me. I found out the hard way about "Do Elemental Weapons Cause More Downs?" section. Still, better late than never and at least I have confirmation now.
    Also the fact Rappies are weak to everything and that info is pretty much exclusive to them amused me. I chuckled too.

      I've wondered about some of this stuff for a while now too. A lot of what I knew was secondhand and finally wanted to see for myself after another streamer & their viewers had many questions on this topic but couldn't quite figure out the answers

    I have always liked keeping elemental weapons around as another tool in the toolbox, if at least to get more downs, particularly elemental downs against bosses. However... Most of these weapons are becoming so low in the damage range I don't know if this is worth keeping them around anymore, save perhaps the Neo-J weapons for use against Dark Falz in all it's variants which are weak to light attacks.

    We don't need elements on weapons xD We give the ranger a "Blightround Elemental reinforce" skill, which gives an additional 10% elemental dmg when attacking this point besides the 20/25% physical dmg. ( Element is always what the opponent is weak on)

    i don't know why they removed this feature. they should make elementals a feature you can craft into weapons. like a gem or something. maybe a new EX augment. buff it up to the same level as force elemental damage/downs.

    Elemental weapons, imo, was an attempt to make semi seasonal weapons (they will last longer than seasonal weapons, but with limited uses), as they have lower base attacks that get diminishing effect faster as enemies levels goes up (until lv75 when they decided to alter players' and enemies base stats growths patterns). Therefore elemental weapons have lower base stats but higher multipliers making them excel against lower level enemies.

    7:45 Masquerade from base PSO2 gets elemental and weapon type resistance during the fight which makes him take less damage to the elements and weapons used against him.

    I do wish we can get a up to date Elemental weapon with Elemental Exploit III or something as I think they are going to be pretty lit and also enables more augments for Abandac Fixa builds.

    dude thanks for this info... its been bugging me late since i switched from ranger main to techter.... i have a question with what you discussed... how does the valorous potential affect the mix since its produces extra attack as a potential plus the element plus the matching with enemy weakness and to add the newer wix fixa as well

    Does the Techter skill work as a sub class on non tec attacks? Like do I get my PB faster on a Neos J against DF using PAs? I know awake aile is active because they’re bosses but do you also benefit from the elemental PB gain one just because your weapon element matches the weakness?
    Slayer will be an ok subclass choice on the new 4 man DFA but because it’s only the second phase I’m unsure if bouncer sub is as good as it would be normally. Fighter sub probably won’t be beneficial unless you have multiple tec users. So that leaves options for survivability or TE sub.

    i would like dark element at my weapon so i can easly farming at combat zone 5 normal attack not so efective againt the starless but with dark element they easly to defeat that why Force and Techter was powerful at combat zone 5 for mele your weapon is make no damage to starless ...so it a little bit unfair for mele class compare to tech

    I really appreciate this run down
    but I gotta say I absolutely despise how PSO2 Calculates downs and Damage
    It all feels so absolutely arbitrary that it just doesn't feel rewarding to put in effort
