Slipper clutch is one of the premium feature that is missing in NS200, Now with other manufacturers with lower displacement bikes, slipper clutch is pretty common.
In this video, you will understand how to install a slipper clutch unit in your NS 200, RS 200 or Duke 200 models.

Friendly reminder, before installing a new clutch friction plate, first soak it in oil so that when you start the engine, the clutch friction plate doesn't burn.
It's pre-lubed dude
Please read the service manual. Written notice: If new dry friction plates and steel plates are installed, apply engine oil to the surfaces of each plate to avoid clutch plate seizure.
First a fall it's slipper you don't need to lube it's pre lubed

Great video man! nicely explained and straight to the point. would be great if the music is little mellower. also is it fine if you rev-match when you have a slipper clutch? whats the difference between rev-matching and engine breaking? isn't both effectively same?
By definition, a slipper clutch allows the clutch to slip a predetermined amount when gearing down. The main purpose of this is to allow the next gear down to engage without the sudden introduction of engine braking that you’d normally get at high revs.
By slipping, the slipper clutch gives a more progressive action to the gear down process making changing down gears smoother.
Rev matching, also known as throttle blipping) was specifically designed to do a similar process before slipper clutches were introduced. For the most part, and especially for road riding, rev matching is no longer required at all.
However, for racing and due to the continuous peak revs used there, rev matching can still be a benefit. Although this is not done manually anymore - an electronic component call the auto-blipper performs this function so that the rider no longer needs to reduce pressure on the throttle handle (potentially losing front braking efficiency) to blip the throttle during down changes. The rider simply starts pushing/pulling (depending on gear shift mode) on the gear lever, the electronics sense the change in gear coming and blips the throttle for the rider.
So for road riding, it is not required. For racing, it depends on whether you have an auto-blipper or not.
@@damaihati7151 thank you for the prompt response . i own an adventure 390 and it has slipper clutch. Whenever i want to downshift, I blip throttle a bit and downshift simultaneously leaving the clutch lever (which is rev matching i guess). I do this to reduce the speed of the bike as well instead of braking. This make the downshift smoother and shifting gear almost inaudible. So just want to know this method downshifting is not bad for the engine while it has slipper clutch? Thanks

Speaking of slipper clutch, yes it fits all NS & RS models which were launched from 2017. Only BS3 models might have some problems.

Hi,Bro mine was rs200 bs4 i might be confused why you don’t use the outer hub of the assembly is there is any issue. Why because we replace the clutch after 30to40k km once on that time changing the full assembly is better than changing the inner unit?? That’s why asking your reply helps lots

@@damaihati7151Thanks for this very very important information brother. I almost made up my mind to install this but now it looks like gaining something at the cost of losing a great feature. Engine braking in Duke 200 is very strong and it very much required in order to handle the type of acceleration Duke provides. Can't imagine how would I slow down my Duke with less engine braking than before. Can you please provide a lump sump figure like how much in percentage the intensity of engine braking is decreased after installing slipper clutch. It would be of great help before taking this decision as once it is done it would be a new area to learn how to rely on wheel brakes only if the there is less engine braking.
Hi bro I have one doubt n250 has 5 gears and the n250 clutch comes with only 4 plates and 1 friction plate by this plates we can run ns 200 without any problem

If you are looking for a comfortable riding posture then yah, you can go ahead and replace your handlebar with duke 250 one or dominar 400 one
Speaking of high speed safety, I have ridden approx 2k KMS with the same without any problems and the handlebar is strong enough to support the weight.
Also in case if you are planning to change then I do recommend you to only use original bolts from Bajaj or TVS instead of cheap once.
