This presentation for one of the backup crew moons is a better homage than many people get when they've gotten the human taxidermy treatment and are on display in a pine box. Great stuff.
I appreciate you putting the imperial measurements on your video. It certainly makes it a lot easier for folks like myself to follow along with this amazing video. Thank you!
Dreksler, please keep posting more videos, been a fan since 2017 and your videos keep me from depression, knowing about the cruelness of our earth. I will always we watch and support you. Please try to post more
I have been learning a lot from you. In my opinion you are too underrated. You research the moons that are not that known to us. You even make education guesses on the other planets’ moons becoming a moon of our planet. You are an incredible RUclipsr and I am looking foward to your new videos.
I remember picking this moon in college when it came to my art project of making a poster to go visit the moon. good times and good video. its nice to see you back
brother how are u ,hope u r good and healthy and ur family too ,where u have been ,was checking ur channerl everyday for new vid, amzing stuff u do ,a very good work ,keep it up
i wonder if we'll get videos on saturn's other large moons like Dione or Rhea, or even some of the smaller moons with interesting orbits like epimetheus and janus, or the trojan moons of tethys and dione
A watery sort of planet. I mean, moon. Astronomical body. Learned something new. Also happy to see you alive, and I hope, relatively well. We know each other from the days of Discord, of Age of Empires 3, Titanfall 2. Just checking if you're okay. The community posts have nothing, and I didn't have any other way to contact you. Tethys, just one of the many moons of Saturn and far too esoteric to be of interest to most people. However, when Astral Drexler takes an interest..........
Nice video about Tethys. I have to point out an error. Around 6:50 you state that the Saturn-facing side is the 'leading' hemisphere but that is not correct. The Leading hemisphere is that which 'faces forward' as the satellite travels in its orbit around Saturn. Similarly, the Trailing hemisphere 'faces backward' as it travels around Saturn.
That means... Hypothetically, you could drive a car at a stable speed of 100mph on Tethys. That means you could travel across Tethys in 7 hours in a car going 100mph.
Good job! I watched most of your videos 3 times, because you include facts, and make it educational. You and David Butler are in a separate class. ...funny red stuff. We need to make a human cyborg, and send him there so he can lick it, and tell us what it tastes like...also he can put it in his pipe and smoke it.
The legend is back!
Yes! His videos are hypnotic and blissful! Thanks Drex!
I have a personal interest in astronomy, and this is by far my favorite astronomy channel. Keep up the good work!!
Mine too.
The worst part is when these videos are over and you know you wont see another one for another 8 months 😢
He’s back! Its nice to see that you’re good and well. Great video, they’re all amazing. Thank you for making these for us
Believe it or not, Tethyan geological features are named after characters and places in Homer's beloved epic classics: The Iliad and The Odyssey.
I wonder how big it is Crater Circe in diameter.
79 kilometers.
Ithaca Chasma is Marge's....chasm
Still glad to see you back making videos. You have been missed.
Niceeeeeee, Dreksler is back
Dreksler is back! Please don't abandon us again.

OMG so glad you are back. It's an ASMR hit you wouldn't believe.
Finally you’re my favorite youtuber

So happy to see another video from you Dreksler

Welcome back!! Another great video!
Tethys's crater Odysseus is especially interesting. You have to wonder what exactly caused an impact that large and how long ago.
In my expert opinion as a RUclips commenter, I would say “a big rock”.
Getting the terraforming process started.
Same thing goes for Mimas' great crater Herschel.
always a great day when dreksler uploads
It’s been awhile dreksler astral welcome back and happy holidays

Missed you buddy!!!!!!
Such a great place for a vacation!
Please don't leave us too long without videos 😳
Dreksler we love ur videos!
Wow! I was literally watching one of your older videos earlier today.
The moon is so faint that it can barely pick up on the telescope from earth, all thanks to cassini for finding this hasetag..
It takes 27days for our moon to orbit earth and our moon is also tidally locked.
brother how are u ,hope u r good and healthy and ur family too ,where u have been ,was checking ur channerl everyday for new vid, amzing stuff u do ,a very good work ,keep it up
Tethys is one cool moon
Standing in Tethys & seeing d enormous Saturn n d sky s still a dream !!! 🥺🪐♥

Thank you Derksler fir another great video!
Finally! I’ve tried to find this channel forever. I’d totally forgotten it’s name.
Dreksler your channel is the best so far interms of Astronomical information
I wonder why we don't hear more about this moon.
FINALLY SOME MORE YES
Yay! You finally upload a video in 3 months! I hope you wont leave us behind without a another upload for the next 3 months.
Hello, thanks a lot, your pronunciation is very clear, I'm enjoying and learning at the same time.
New video. Very nice
so Tethys & Mimas are basically Father & Son
Wouldn't they be siblings because they're moons?
@@titan9259
Same thing happened with Iapetus and Dione, if it isn't good enough.
Glad to see you back
finally!!!!
Best birthday present lol
Great video!
You've been gone for too long, I watch your videos daily, but I always appreciate when you do upload.

Finally new video

What If Mercury (planet) and Io (moon) were in the habitable zone
Mercury is literally a basalt rock with an iron core inside, so it would be just as boring.
In the small chance that Tethys still has an ocean, I think the name would be kind of fitting.
I never realized how abundant water ice is throughout the moons in the solar system.

What if all the planets of our solar system disappeared and only the sun, the eart and the moon are there ?

Thank you. I cut out the incorrect part of the video.
Why does no one else on RUclips mention Tethys moon. It’s got to be one of the most fascinating moons in our Solar System.
Hi , can you do a video about the real planet Nine that can exist?
It would be interesting to listen what you thing about it .
Finally!

"That's no moon. It's a space station!"
looks kind of like the death star
Have a loving and cheerful Christmas my friend🎁🎄❤🎁🎄❤🎁🎄❤🎁🎄❤🎁🎄❤

3.5 million square km is 1167 funen islands, this is a very very big moon, bigger than my mind can even comprehend!
Cat walking on ceiling upside-down
Great video
Tethys with it's crater looks like a bigger Mimas.
Do you have a video in the works about what mars was like 3 billion years ago? They say mars had oceans 3 billion years ago.
So tethys is like that water world from voyager if it melted, it would be one big ocean?
very good channel :)
Whys Mimas in the thumbnail?
I wonder if Tethys has or not a deep global liquid salt water ocean beneath its brittle icy crust.
Whats the background music
Believe it or not, Tethys' the Saturnian major icy moon least denser than water.
Please upload new video :)
See, I knew that Hoth was a real place when watching Empire Strikes Back.
We need to collide this moon along with Enceladus into Mars.
I love your videos and how you go into detail about a planet or moon's surface
Yay
You should be a teacher 👍🏼
mimas and Tethys irl death star
Tethys is another death star than Mimas. あなたは幻の一部です
We never been to the moon to cold sun too hot get it
