A lot of these things I agree with, but I don't think it's a good idea to just cut people off without explaining what they did wrong. I say this because it happened to me and I was completely blind sided because my friends always told me things were okay and were never honest with me about if I did something to bother them (and since I'm autistic I tend to take people for their word and trust them rather than making assumptions). You shouldn't assume someone is doing something out of malice - mind you, though, if you explain and they don't care or keep disrespecting boundaries, then cutting them off is understandable.
In short, I think it's best to at least communicate what bothers you before deciding to cut someone off, because not communicating can cause animosity and confusion that complicates things even more.

Me and my ex both fell out of love. We grew apart and realized that we were NOT good partners. But after we broke up we gave each other some space (2 months) and started becoming friends again. At that time i didnt know how i felt about him, but now i know we are just friends. btw we literally are BEST friends and NEVER bring up anything about out relationship unless it was something just flat out funny/embarasing. Anyways, I always give him relationship advice and he sometimes gives me mental advise. In my opinion i think that unless something actually bad happened, it makes no sense to just hate someone because they dont have the same feelings as you. yk? Like just because you cant control their feelings and make them like you, doesnt mean that you should hate them or not (at least) be friendly with them. Some people need to get over themselves and realize that they cannot control how other people feel and how their brain works.
