The Ancient Tomes can be combined with an enchanted book with the same enchantment to get a book one level over the max! Alternatively, you can hold the tome in your offhand and a piece of gear that has the same enchantment in your main hand and right click to combine them. (e.g., combining a feather falling IV ancient tome with a feather falling IV piece of gear gets you feather falling V on that gear)
or you can just hold the feather IV boots in hand and ancient tome in off hand and enchant it to FF V for free

Also you can disenchant it to get a regular enchanted book in case you need it
To do that you have to have an item enchanted at the same level in your main hand, the tome in the off hand, and then right click.

Some things to help you:
-Make a dragon crossbow, bolts don't drop and they're fast af (good for long distance)
-Make a dragon canteen they instantly purifiy water
-Tide guardian armor is better than dragon it gives you strength for each piece, max tide guardian = strength IV in water (use a water bucket for the buff)
-Get an Amphithere in jungle biomes as a flying mount by repeatedly riding it
Research dragon steel armor too

you just can’t update it anymore, shivaxi didn’t like people doing that since it broke dragon ai or something so he made the new version of ice and fire incompatible with rlcraft 2.9

RLC Lore #4: Back when the Dragons and the Demons fought in the War of Brimstone, Turkey was just a young lad who the dragons favoured because of his surprising knowledge of the Demon's weaknesses. Even so, the Demons had the advantage but Turkey had managed to lock the Gates of Hell and stop the war as a whole. And the dragons celebrated that day as Turkey Day.
In more recent events, Turkey made a contract with the dragons to "minimize" the assault on his new friend Calvin, but Calvin had woken up and chose violence so the contract was revoked.

Pro Tip, dont hold anything in your offhand while using a longsword, even if its just a torch, thats why u were doing no damage, there is an invisible softlock on the weapon damage which are two handed if u have an offhand
would u recommend dragon saber or dragon longsword?

Since it’s bugging me since the start of the series, pls don’t spam click weapons bro, and for weapons that have the „twohanded“ perk, they get a decrease in damage when you hold anything in your offhand, including torches

They don’t decrease in damage, it just gives you mining fatigue, also he has haste

i missed this series so much! so great to see it back
the flower circles randomly in the world means theres good ore if you dig down in the circle (diamond, emeralds)
you can go into the mod config in game and look up I think it's a visual mod and change how much the explosions blur your screen so you can actually see, also definitely recommend you to make a dragon canteen it auto purifiers the water no need for filters. as for the tomes, put it in your off hand and hold the item you want to add it to and it will enchant it one level higher even if the enchant is maxed, for example it can make fortune 4 instead of three.
Or sunglasses could work....

After rlcraft you should try medieval minecraft its similar to rlcraft but way more stuff and early game its arguably harder than rlcraft cause even in full dragon armor you can still be one shot by a mob with an axe it also has a bunch of dimensions dungeons and adds in magic

Ancient Tome: If you have a looting 3 ancient tome, combine it with a normal looting 3 book to make looting 4. It can be used to make higher tier enchants

The ancient tombs increase the enchantment they say in the item description by one
Flower circle is part of the quark mod and if you dig straight down from the center of the circle, u will find diamonds

24:20 the ice dragon was the most difficult because it had a brain unlike all the other dragons you had fought before it like the dragon that was swimming or like the others who stay on the ground or don't stay in the sky for a long time

I like how the one fire dragon gave 60 scales and barely attacked him and he used all of his gaps on a ice dragon and it gave 0 scales
technical difficulities = cuts to hide 69 deaths during the process of gathering video material
Just so you know, the reason you were being set on fire was because of the zombies was probably burning thorns enchantment. They may have had it on their armor and were setting you on fire. Love the videos, keep up the great work!

Try getting silver armor. Silver armor gives you immunity to all negative potion effects and is about as protective as dragon armor with the right enchants
you are a fool, who will use silver over tide guardian or dragon armor except if you for some reason have supreme prot 4 on full silver armor
What wizardry did you pull to be able to tank a dragon's fire breath attack in DIAMOND ARMOR, without resistance? Even with full advanced protection, the dragon would 2/3 shot you, (not to mention the statistical miracle it would be for you to find adv prot in the second village you explore).

Yep, cuts when he dies. He went from having haste to suddenly having a regen ring. You need a NETHER STAR and FOUR ghast tears to make that now. Yeah I'm sure he totally got those legit during a brief cut and forgot to mention it 🙄
Yea a few things I noticed during this playthrough didn’t add up I mean not impossible but like adv prot on armour back to back nah no chance
Advanced prot 4 too
Make/enchant a pair of Dragonbone Nunchucks. While they don't have resistance like a saber you can attack constantly with them, even while holding a shield up, meaning that if you have Lifesteal and Swifter Slashes on one you're practically unstoppable.
Nunchucks are op they don’t deal a lot of damage per hit but it attacks so fast the fps makes up for it. Dps sorry
I started at RL craft with you and I got so close to dying during this episode to the point where I had to pause it and actually fight for once probably the most scariest thing I’ve ever seen in my life I hate dragons

ancient tomes make your enchants go 1 level higher than max so instead of efficiency 5 it would be efficiency 6, and if you do featherfalling 4 an ancient tome would make it feather falling 5

29:02 notice how the dragon's eye didn't show up in the crafting table, that's because you need a tier 5 dragon skull to craft one, which he did not have.
So he obviously got it from creative. Love your videos but you have to stop calvin.

I already knew you were cheating from older videos, especially in the last one where the Hardcore hearts were gone. Plus when you press pause we can see that ”Open to LAN” has been pressed, which means you had enabled cheats.
But at 34:14 you made it real obvious man.

i use a server for content. it's a lot harder than you think to just upload my gameplay from a single player world with no plugins to help me make content.
hearts: who cares. if i die, i can literally stop playing the game. hardcore is no different.
finally, i switched from survival to creative and back to survival to get the literal blinding blur that is not good content off the screen so that i could proceed to make said content.
i'm not playin this for my own gain, i'm playin this to make content for you, aka the viewer. never once have i said i don't have cheats enabled, they literally HAVE to be so i can actually make the content.
