Cad Bane killed two squads of Senate guards, killed a senator, held the whole senate hostage, forced the chancellor and secret Sith Lord to release a prisoner, captured Anakin Skywalker, walked out with almost his entire crew intact, delivered Ziro back to the Hutt Clan, and then blew up the senate chambers anyway, nearly killing all of the hostages.
And he did it in 25 minutes on cartoon f’n network
He held a few senators hostage, not even close to the whole senate.
That’s what I call a In-and-out operation, and a few senators is enough for Cad Banes demands to be met

@@Marcuski31 Yeah, him too maybe. I haven’t seen enough of Boba to judge him properly. I just said Cad Bane because he was playing with the Jedi like it’s nothing.
Can we talk about how that Jedi sacrificed himself to not open the holocron, yet Anikin willingly does it because he threatens to kill Ashoka. That guys force ghost was probably face palming so hard.
Well yeah, because the Jedi are selfless. They'd sacrifice themselves for the greater good, but they'd never intentionally sacrifice another and do nothing.
Just another example of the garbage writing anytime this dude was in the screen.
They needed another boba Fett so bad so they made this male bad guy Mary Sue
How is this bad writing? One, Anakin is far too emotional and impulsive to compare his thinking to that of your average Jedi. Plus, most Jedi will give in to demands when it comes to the lives of others, but will sacrifice their own need be. So of course Anakin would open it up if Ashoka was in danger, and Cad Bane knew this hence him saying he would try another method after killing the first one.

Simple yet effective writing. Love it, even it it didn't exactly show.
1:27 this is one of my favourite and also probably the most underrated part, it really shows what makes bane good, its not just because hes a good shot or something like that, its his tactics, planning and in this case improvisation out of the box thinking like with the gravity and door controls on his wrist. this is what makes him come across as insanely competent to me compared to any other villain, because its actually believable that he can get the upper hand on more powerful characters by outthinking them like this
And that’s precisely why the entire time he was talking to Cobb I was SHRIEKING at the tv “COBB NO HIS DRAW IS TOO FAST!”

For those who didn't catch it, Anakin uses Force Speed at 3:15 . Nice little callback to Episode 1 when Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon use Force Speed to escape.
Why didn’t either anakin or ashsoka use the force to stop bane in his tracks? Anakin literally saves a clone in the same scene with the force lol.

I disagree: with Force speed he would have easily catch here who is running normally. And just a scene later he is running pretty normally as well.
And they never used it again...smh. Even in the new games they don't have it but Battlefront II on the PS2 did.

I think Force Speed is really just Force Dash....Qui Gon dashes, and here, Anakin Dashes. I don't think it turns you into The Flash.

@@thephoenix4093 *Gary Stu in that case. And as much as I love the force unleashed, power scaling (while epic) is terribly designed. Also in terms of badassery, Canderous Ordo, Kyle Katarn, and HK-47 would like to have a word with you.
As good as Cad Bane is he is probably the second best bounty hunter in the galaxy, we can only imagine how good Jango Fett was.
No bane proved himself and counted as the second best non force user in the galaxy jango lost to obi alone bane won againts two masters at same time which one of them was kenobi

@@John-996 he was cloned beceause he was a healthy human humans can tallk normal and any langange something that some species cant and yet he was destriyed by windu which was a dark jedi and jango was running away beceause he knew he couldnt have killed kenobi cad bane crushed kenobi and another jedi master and did that easily what he did wasnt even escaping he thought they died but wasnt sure thats why he did that fastbut still hes the greatest bounty hunter of all time dont forget that he teached boba everthing boba knows which was enough to survive a battle againts the strongest jedi ever (luke skywalker) jango wont be able to do nothing like this if he lost to windu in seconds

Thats probably because he correlates Ashoka leaving the Jedi order with his downfall, which in his mind this clone contributed to. As you can see he has no qualms with killing her later.

He's my favourite bounty hunter character
I like how Bane always delivers. In the holocron mission he manages to: steal the Holocron from the Jedi Temple, get a Jedi to actually open it and steal the force-sensitive children! He literally completed Palpatine's mission 100%, the Jedi only stopped the plan later...

It’s weird that the separatist give a bounty hunter a battle cruiser and another bounty hunters that they hired don’t even give them 1 droid ... wait, there’s other time they give him droids, a couple of Commandos when he attacked the senate.
I think that he bought those Commando units. The battle droids, like the clones, are puchased from a third party contractor, who might have been willing to sell them.
Well technically Sidious hired Bane. So obviously he would have an entire fleet at his disposal to get the job done which speaks volumes to Cad Bane’s reputation.

But if you'll notice, more power was an option. The droid didn't actually "hit him full power". He stopped in the middle to question Cad Bane's orders, leaving the power running.
It was probably this prolonged medium-high that killed the Jedi and if the droid had just hit him like he was supposed to he would have survived.

Space Clint Eastwood, also known as Cad Bane, was fantastic. Fighting well into his old age he eventually fell in a duel too the kid of his biggest rival who he helped train. I don’t care how much y’all whine, I grew up watching Bane and I thought it was a great ending to the character. What did y’all expect, him to die in a bed surrounded by grandkids?
Facts! It was an appropriate way to die
I expected him not to be introduced one episode and killed off the next. If he had come in much earlier and become the main antagonist I think it would have been so much better. Also Bane had every little thing imaginable to be able to kill and defeat Jedi. But somehow he’s not prepared for something to puncture him through the chest? He wouldn’t be wearing something protective? That seems kind of dumb for him he’s smarter than that.
