It's also mentioned in the Wookiepedia that Bacara ordred the Galactic Marines to all fistfight Super Battle Droids after their new blaster models jammed The clones won, by the way
I mean, aside from that one clone in the movie, who punches a droid, instantly breaking his hand and then getting shot through the chest at point blank

Honestly if you told me that they had a programming like order 66 but constant where when they were around Jedi they were slightly worse. Something subtle like missing one or two shots at the worst moments around Jedi and the clones think it’s just battle fatigue. Yeah I could see that happening as a good way for palpatine to thin out the jedi.
Jedi really shoudve been used as force multipliers in a unit. Clone Officers shouldve held the military command. Really skilled jedi with an aptitude for military strategy could be promoted to take command, but overall Clone Commanders wouldve been way better and would have led to more GAR wins.

They aren’t exactly trained to operate a ground assault or defense and honestly if a Jedi dies it most certainly would actually make the unit more cohesive and capable. Someone that’s actually trained to lead will take over, a unit of troops is never lead just by the CO (Commanding Officer) but also by additional officers who are lower rank.

It makes them seem unpredictable and even disobedient despite the inhibitor chips (Fives is a good example) And in the end, they were right as well, there hasn't been much cases of stormtroopers defecting or betraying the empire. Clones on the other hand, began questioning orders shortly after order 66 happened
You can really see the way the Clones' tactics against the droids evolved throughout the war. They regularly struggled against Droideka shields early on, but by the war's end and just afterward they were calm and practiced at exploiting the weaknesses of the design like when Nova was able to use the droid popper while the Droideka was still rolling.
Fordo will always be the most elite, fucker took on so many droids solo whilst getting his men to retreat and asking for backup. Now sure, it was from the 2003 clone wars, but still.

A lot of fans seem to forget these dudes aren't just random goobers. They are trained from birth to be soldiers everyone of them is elite and so over trained by our standards and are able to use any weapon in the GAR if need be any random shinny can immediately jump into a LAAT or an AT-TE and start blasting droids.

The main gunner can control only the MAIN cannon, the rest are controlled by other Clones
