Oh yeah buddy. I have 2 more videos edited and uploaded too so I am good until mid-Novemeber for long format videos! Now I am looking forward to ice fishing! SOON!!!
Oh yeah these stocked lakes are like that. You don't see much of this during summer but spring and fall they are up shallow. When I ice fish for them I am often in 4 feet of water or less! I see you uploaded your last hiking video from Superior, I'll be checking that one. Cheers Matt.
And this was slow believe it or not lol. I've seen days in late October tossing those big baits and getting 2 dozen pike and nearly half if them over 3 feet! That bug was super cool! What are your plans coming up? Do you do much winter fishing in the northeast?
Thanks Sean! Actually it was same area but two different lakes. How did your 31 days of shorts experiment turn out or did you complete that? I recently started making shorts... only because they no longer mix them in with the long format vids and they have there own separate tab.
Amazing video Joe!! Really enjoyed it. What a fun day that was. Conversation and fishing. Just can't beat it. It was great to relive the day from a diffrent camera angel too!! Looking forward to getting on editing the perspective of the day on my camera!! and can't wait to get back out on the lake with you guys.
Great news Joe!! Just looked now and they look AWESOME. I think what I may do is even Include some clips of me fishing Frog TMR in that video. Pike are still there! It may be messy but I am sure I can organize it. Can't wait to get it out there. And I loved the pike fishing short too you posted today.
@@ncoutdoors2710 yeah I had difficult time editing myself. So much talking going on. Timing of the clips and when to trim them was difficult. Tony got himself a fat 42" pike at Frog yesterday
These are stocked brook trout. There are only a few lakes stocked around this area. Need to get to Lake Superior and its tributaries to find naturals. That's a few hours away to the east.
@@differentfins yeah man. I walked into this summer with hefty goals of a video per week for each channel. Then we decided to put an addition on the house - thus nothing for either channel all summer 😂
Can't wait to watch this after work. What an amazing time of fishing. So looking forward to getting back out there with ya! Thumbnail looks awesome!

This is a great video! Trout and pike together? That’s like milk and cookies. Thanks for the awesome content brother
Looks like a great time!
Oh it was a blast! We talked more than we fished lol, it was a slower weekend of fishing but we got them!
Great video, looked like a ton of fun, was cool to see those brookies hitting close to shore.

Hot bite right off the bat! Not bad for mid fall. I have not seen a giant water bug in decades. That was a cool find.

@@differentfins Not really. Ice is never hard enough.
Pike and trout in the same spot is fantastic, nicely done

@@differentfins Pretty good, it will be my video for next Saturday
Great vid Joe, just my type of fishing. Thanks Brother 👍😁
Casting from shore, having fun and catching a few fish. Fun style of fishing! Cheers brudder!
Great time to get out with friends and family!! And those ducks look delicious lol
Can you imagine if duck hunting was that easy, I don't think they would be so friendly after the first shot LOL!!!

How did your camera angles turn out that day?
Or should I say weekend. More than one day lol

Great vid, pretty sure that insect at 12:40 is called a toe biter ,they'll give you a nasty sting
Well I certainly wouldnt want to get pinched by that guy. Pretty intimidating little bug.
@@differentfins that’s for sure!,keep up the great vids man!!
Watching it right now 🤙
Cool
Fun day with friends, those are some cool trouts I should go and try to fins some, never cought one of thse trouts.
No brook trout stocked where you live? Most common stocked trout in NW Ontario.
@@differentfins they are some up north but not on the ponds here
@@RaulGarciaFishingandOutdoors are you in Regina area?
Very cool footage of a days fishing. Would those be stocked brook trout or naturals?

Fun stuff! I was MIA for a bit there. Looks like I have some catching up to do, and gonna have to check out @ncoutdoors channel. Cheers Joe!
Yeah for real, you've been busy there Dave? I've missed your videos on both channels.
Nick is a pretty fun young man, he is originally from Toronto living in NW Ontario now.
