You can tell it's Lucas's skinny run.
I know that stride. Spitting hate though.
Man probably can’t tear his way out of a wet paper bag, but damn he can shoot. If anything it proves that while muscles help they’re probably not what’s stopping you from being a better shooter.
Yeah you don’t need to be muscular to be good at shooting
@@nanohana2973 that is the entire point of a firearm. Granny might be skinny and old. The bad man might be the UFC BAMF. But, one well placed round, and granny wins.

I thoroughly enjoyed shooting with you my man. It’s crazy impressive how well you shot given you don’t compete in USPSA regularly. Would love to have you back in the near future.
Thanks! I’ll be back. Y’all run an awesome club. Best I’ve been too. It was rad watching you burn the stages down 🔥

ca n you quietly tells us where he finished on the leaderboard mike ? 😍
@@atozer2547 3/29 in CO and shot 86% of a GM, very well done..
With a G17…
This man's reloads are crisp!
I had to look for when he was reloading :P it felt like hollywood's schrodingers clip :p
He reloaded so fast until I didn't even know he had reloaded I had to go back and watch the video lol.
he isnt competetive shooter and you can tell by some errors he makes. He is just a great shooter at a competition.
Love that fabulous Freddie Mercury step out of the box at the end
Lol 👌
That was zesty af
Saucy
It's pretty cool to see the person whose videos originally got me interested in the sport participate in a match at the same club where I first started competing in USPSA. Still need to pick something up from the RO in this video lol.
Dude, he's wicked fast with his open gun. Holy crap
@@TREXARMS for sure. Mike is a beast. Brantley is nutty as well. Brock's has some awesome talent for a local match. I know strategic edge is way closer to you, but there are some really fantastic matches in central Alabama.
Anyone that hates on this kid is just thirsty. He's passionate about what he does and does it well.
@Juan Vasquez 😂rent free buddy
@Juan Vasquez *punched
@Juan Vasquez So because he trains he doesn't have heart? Because there aren't any bullets coming back he's a coward?
@Juan Vasquez 😂 what happens when the guy that's never been punched Lay's you out cold? Do you tuck tail and walk away embarrassed or do you say well done, looks like training pays off. 😂I get what your saying but until then we can only speculate. But he's putting in the reps so if that day does come hopefully his training will take affect. Kinda like why they make you do it over and over in the military. Maybe one day he will get enough confirmed kills to impress someone like yourself. Although something tells me he couldn't care less. 😂
@Juan Vasquez 😂k whatever you say. It's like the people that say " you don't need a firearm" or "leave that to the professionals ". Was talking with my brother who is a cop and like he said if you knew how little most officers train to qualify, you wouldn't think that way. The people you say are " larping" probably train 10 times more than the average police officer. And they spend their own money on courses. After some of the thing's I've seen from certain so called professionals, I'd choose Lucas to cover my back before 50 percent of them. But hey man I'm sure I'm wrong. You could always fire up your own channel, hit record and show us all how it's done. 😂🤷🏽♂️
“Competitive shooter posts a video on RUclips.”

The dude may look like slenderman, but dang, that reload was fast.

When you have aimbot IRL.
Glad to see some shorts from 🦖 💪
Keep em comin!
Say what you want about this man, but I have yet to see Lucas out of his depth. He practices what he preaches, instructs people the same way he trains himself, and takes constructive criticism (and hate) and improves himself through it.
I don’t see why they hate
@@johncena-hq1ti cause he's a civillian.
@@johncena-hq1tippl think being a non infantry role vet gave them extra tactical skills somehow 😂
It's an old head vet mentality that if you haven't seen "war" or served in active duty you can't shoot. It's a ridiculous outlook and it takes out of account that there is a level of shooting that while not "professional" can still be good fundamentally without having used it in a battle environment.
There will always be someone more experienced and better then someone else at pretty much anything we do in life. But just because people are better at a certain thing does not mean another person can't be good at said same thing.
@@xcd87 so you have to be ex mil to train people?
I'd hate to be in a gun fight with this man. Bro's got a small hit box
And that ladies and gentlemen is how you get back to a good rifle 😉
Real pleasure to watch! 😎👍
👍🏾 That crisp relish is why even when I’m just sitting in front of my monitor I drop and reload mags. Good going my man
Well it was inevitable, a few snarky comments from non competition people. I thought that he did pretty damn good for being 2yrs out of the sport(his comment to someone), and without the 4 misses on steel at the start he would have had a pretty smoking run. It still was very smooth and his skill is evident. To anyone thinking I don't know what I'm talking about, I've been shooting this sport since 85, so yeah......
The thing he did best was using passing lanes instead of planting at the views. His feet never stopped moving, and he was able to shift gears nicely. That's not at all easy.
He was probably not prepping the trigger properly at first and jerked the first few shots, but he recovered well. Everything else is picking nits.
@Justin Walker you seemed to have covered it all. Wise words young padewan. It did appear to me that the poppers were minis, and set back a little, so........
@@bobstark4020 Exactly. Especially for CO, where the optic has to be fixed to the slide and not the frame. Mini poppers and a reciprocating red dot are a tough combination.
I'm just glad that Lucas takes both combat and sport training so seriously. That's good for the community.
Fast and accurate! Lead by example. Love it! 😎🇺🇸
Need a full video!
When he's moving he's smooth
Loving the shorts. Keep them coming!!!!
This dude is quick !!!!
Lucas keep up the awesome shooting and holsters🙏🏼✌️🤙🏻💯😎
Lucas is such a badass. I'm definitely a fan.
My man changed mags so fast I didn’t even realize he did it on my first time watching it
"the video is speedup bro"🤣
Wow, that second reload was impressive!
Slow is smooth, smooth is fast..
Lookin' smooth!
CANT WAIT for you to sign up for Tactical Games next! Good job practicing what you preach and actually competing!
You make it look easy! Excellent shooting
Great to see this busy guy found some time to make it to a match. Keep the shorts coming!
That last reload was insane
How can you do this without a fancy competition shirt?
He actually got DQ'd for an "unapproved torso covering garment"
Like to show 1 respect
Lol
@@TREXARMS IPSC rulebook Appendix E2 diagram clearly shows unneeded cargo pants and fancy competition polo shirt.
USPSA is pretty quiet on it but if Lucas wore cargo pants imagine how fast he could be with all those extra pockets.
Hopefully we can see a long form video destroying this competition!
You're faster You just don't look as cool
First Popper had Lucas on the ropes “Damn, this steel got hands.” 😂
Been wanting to see you in a comp! I just did my second ever! Its so much fun and I hope with warmer weather I can really start to train harder!
That zesty step at the end is killer lol
That's cadence was fantastic like playing a song
Shoot!!! Lucas has been training for this for years!!! 😂😂😂😂
Glad you enjoyed the match and well done on your placement!
You cannot deny his skills
Saw that Hoover Tactical short on RSO.
Is this at Brock’s Gap near Birmingham?
Great shooting
That step at the end was a lil spicy😂
I still cant believe you can have a channel like this and not have to be all out of shape n stuff
I will say, that second mag change was smooth
A “Road to GM” series would be fun to watch
That footwork 😂
the number of trolls that comment from moms basement is nuts . seems everyone is tier 1 ops and must have a video of this kid in live combat to appreciate the skill required to run this the way he did . ive been aware for years this kid is the real deal and lives for this shit. most civilians can NOT run 100m and make a head shot at 40yds .
That was a cute move at the end
Sweet run! I love that range
What pistol are you using? Round and mag size?
That little leg flip at the end lol
Yeah, I think he wasn't sure where the fault line was when he turned and didn't want the -5 point/shot penalty for setting his foot down outside the sticks.
What holster set up are you running!?
Nice run !
This fella is damn good.
That last step, had a little salsa kick to it. Lol
Just sold me on 9mm instead of .45! Those 17rd mags clear stages!
Where was this match at?
What was your Hit Factor on that stage?
I love the shorts
As a not-so-mad scientist, I’ve been preparing a video about how I shoot and why. One topic I intend to (literally) turn 90 degrees is stance.
Common teaching is shoulder width, one foot forward, lean forward. So for me as a lefty, my feet would be at the 9 and 2 o’clock positions. Athletically and mathematically, this makes no sense to me. Recoil sends me backwards but my feet are best positioned to oppose forces from my left and right.
Alternatively, as I think I saw in every shot you took, you position your feet like I do…more towards the 6 and 12 position (for me it’s 7 and 1). Two benefits: 1 - sensible stance to oppose the force pushing you back, and 2 - considering movement is involved, a person’s stride more matches 7 and 1 than 9 and 2. I practice for “real life,” and in a real life scenario I envision myself moving while possibly shooting. Nowhere in moving are my feet naturally placed in the 9 and 2 position, so I don’t train with them there.
Thanks for showing me that tidbit of your Mastery, among other things!
Last shot had me 💀 af
Nice work! 👍
Those ladies jeans sure to fit nicely
Amazing bro Lukas...
The first 4 shots what were u aiming at?
I'm sure he was just rushing trying to get off to a quick start. My guess is he wasn't prepping the trigger properly, jerking the shots and then settled into it.
When you have call of duty hacks in real life
Stepped out of the firebox at the end.
What weapon were you running
I hope I can learn to shoot like that one day damn .
Which handgun he was using?
Haven been to brooks gap in awhile. Wish I was closer they have a great range. But atleast south alabama has some great ranges and not far from altus which has some of the best long range matches in the states
So how did you stack up to the comp guys?? Looked fast to me!
Third in my division. Not bad for having not shot one in two years
He missed his first four shots
Dude behind him was getting ready to cap him if he gets out of line💀
Did you finally get to shoot with a flashlight? 😅 nice shooting 🍻
What is he using?
Hey Hiccup, how many 9mm rounds does it take to kill a nightfury?
How do YOU feel you did on that stage??
Pov:American school kids practicing for the next day of sxl🤣
Man’s got aimbot, look how he snaps to those targets 😂
He's saying that he knows u got blickey, and if someone tries to shoot up the store, you can't allow it to happen lol
Did you do it like a real competition and only run it once with no practice trial? How many targets what was your score? And your time?
He took 3rd in the Carry Optics division. This stage was a 7.8084 hit factor. 19.21 seconds, 24 alphas 10 charlies, no mikes or no-shoots.
If you're ever down South near Eagle lake, TX, hit up the guys of 9 holes reviews. Josh is a USPSA grandmaster(pcc) and Henry is wicked with long-range stuff
He's going to be incredible and he hits puberty
Wonder what his set up is?
Ive shot with mike, hilarious and amazing shooter. All around great guy.
He was incredible to watch

Ok John wick jr lol 😂
See the little leg pop at the end? 😂
John wick the man....... Hold my 🍺
what's he shooting at before the poppers?
Came here for this
It looks like he's engaging the first popper but can't fix whatever's wrong, so he resets on the second popper, nails it, doubles back to the first and sweeps them all from there.
