To anyone who might care: If you want to ride on none of the first ten sprinters, including prototypes 150001 and 150002, they are currently running between Sheffield nand Huddersfield on the Penistone line. 001 should bhe in the National collection in my opinion. Hated them when they came out but they proved their worth in the end. Need retiring now though!
155 working with a 158? I wasn't aware that BR operated sprinters in multiple, especially not trains designed for different service types! DfT should regret not requiring modern trains to be workable in multiple with eachother, the flexibility of sprinters is why they still go strong today! Easily able to work together without the speed restrictions of coupling adaptors or units not capable of communicating with eachother (ie door operation) that other units face when working together.
@@Danse_Macabre_125 GWR and TFW semi-frequently operate multiple of their sprinter classes together. GWR operates their 150s and 158s in multiple occasionally, and TfW operate 153s with their 158s.
sexy, sexy, sexy sprinter 😍
Can you imagine this as a real British rail ad
The fact that they could probably get away with acually putting that in the commercial, they should have to be honest (^_^)
It really surprised me how well it worked, missed opportunity that BR didn't do their own!
Those shots over the Scottish viaduct of the 156 from the helicopter 🚁👍🏻

I've been on them! I believe they're the only sets that came as 3 carriages from the factory.
I litterally can't wait to see a video for intercity services. Your editing combined with the beautiful class 91s and 90s that'll be something
That's on the list. And it'll be very very special... 😉
@@Isee3 im sure you won't disapoint and thats coming from a super fan of the intercity service.
I now imagine some sprinter trains feeling very flattered

I can't think of any instances where it's common to see different Sprinters together other than ScotRail (156+153)
I'm not too sure, sounds a lot like train incest to me!

@@BritishTrainspotting Holy shit I completely forgot about TfW haha, didn't know GWR does 150/158 operations though
DfT backwards is Transport for Dorcester
The sprinters are some of my favourite trains, and I'd say this song 1000% does especially the 158 justice :)
My friend sent this to me
These sprinters are really sexy 😍😍 0:09
this one is way more "wave" than the rest.
Cross-country?
No, Regional railways ( -1993 meaning it doesn't run anymore
BTW, the sprinters run Cross-country Regional services
