As an omen main who plays iron 1, I can assure you that you need to basically be a duelist as well as a controller if you want any shot at winning.
Usually what i do on lotus attack is smoke back a lane (idk what its called) and then the entrance to A because snipers like to hold that area. Then sprint up, TP onto the boxes at the entrance of A (to catch anyone who tries to hide boxes and pushes through the smoke, then TP onto site. Fast way to get onto site if you have good timing and if your opponents are not expecting it you can get free frags once on site.
In iron u just need to connect ur monitor lil bro

i've started to play omen because I see more and more that everyone just wants to be a duelist, no heals and no smokes. I'm a sova main and also trade between skye and raze depending on the map. and now omen for smokes and I must say I'm liking him a lot. and the more I push the better I am.

I am very simple i see tenz maining an agent i switch to that agent i see temz rockin the yoru on bind i play yoru on bind i see tenz on kayo in icebox ascent i play kayo there now i have to change my whole instalock jett playlist becuz of mu goat🙃

Propably because of the timing. I would also get mad if you used a decent smoke but it also just so happened to block my Sova dart.

I just started to try out omen after being a breach and fade main. Omen is so good with judge and after watching this vid I now know how to entry util
But with the new meta in breeze, Is it not a better option pick omen as a second controller?
I mean, viper or harbor can deal with the task of cover big areas, and omen can play with his tp and his oneways (because he really have a lot of good oneways in this map)

Ok ok hear me out I just started valorant like a week ago and i took a break for the second week to analyse my mistakes i was putting all of these smokes instinctively and my teammates called me stop throwing trash smokes and isolating 1v1 also 🤷i don't know why they want to play smokes on breeze but meh

So you use 1024*768 ? And what's your native res? My native is 1600*900 and when I use 1024*768 my game looks so pixelated, pls tell how you do your 768p
Smaller monitor maybe, the pixel count doesnt matter as much as the pixel density. Also try to use upscaling (DLSS for NVidia GPU and FSR for AMD GPU) if you can, it will boost your FPS. Oh and the latetst gen cards support frame generation which basically almost doubles your FPS.
Ig this agent requires some amount of map knowledge which i kinda find difficult since its just been 4 days i started playing

why shouldn’t i play omen on breeze? is it because the map is more like a flat, open land compared to others that have more vertical angles/compact set-ups? a friend also told me not to use fade on breeze, and i summed it up to that.
impossible to smoke to block off the angles on attack

Some good tips but lord those smokes are bad, giving them like 10 free angles and placing the smokes as if you’re already defending site lmao
As a certified gold smoker main, you have done a big mistake at 3:58. This mid smoke leaves a big gap (actually VERY big gap now i see it again), for enemys to pick of your team pushing tree. The smoke needs to be aligned with the metal container so they cannot push up easily or have easy picks.
The other smokes are good though
