    The statement behind this video is gold to an introvert. If you can get over those 2-3 seconds of discomfort then you can change your life and others around you. If you can’t handle 2-3 seconds of discomfort then maybe life has been on easy mode for you. 🤷‍♂️

The real question is, to what degree and what are your biases/preconceived notions: "oh, he's rich, pff, I ain't talkin to him." Or do you say, "oh, he's rich? Cool, let me go pick his brain!"

    When I worked at the bank, the ultra-rich people and wealth management clients were always the nicest, most patient people.
    It was the people pretending to be rich (in nice suits, even), with negative balances that were always rude, demanding, and impatient.

      yeah no shit trying to run a small business with a negative balance is stressful as hell. Dressing nice to sell yourself isn't pretending to be rich dude, I bring in a small $800 check to cash at a wells fargo and I have to sit and wait for an hour while they try to authenticate before cashing. And they charge me $8 to cash a check from their own bank and client who wrote a Wells Fargo check.

    This is that childhood lesson of you should never judge a book by its cover... because of what I do for work I interact with business owners and CEOs of all different sizes and I've just learned you never know who is going to treat you with fairness and respect until you are having that conversation.

    Rich people love to talk about how they became successful… when you make a million bucks a year, you really are looking for stuff that money can’t buy. You got your home, probably have a spouse and kids… now you want to give back.

    Love this video. Noah is always teliing us about challenges to try to face rejection because that stops us from getting what we want. In this video he not only tells us but shows us and it is uncomfortable but it is an excellent exercise to try. Great advice.

    I’m in the vinyl wrapping business and let me tell you, those sign guys make TONS. Once I have my own building instead of renting spaces, I’m hiring people to do signs for me. It’s dumb money

    I used to sell cars for almost all of my 20s. I would be trying to keep the customers mentally engaged while we were waiting for the finance manager and I would basically interview them what their job was like and what they did before.
    Always got the best stories.

    I work around a lot of doners with money and you find out pretty quickly people with REAL money are always extremely nice. The rude ones are the upper middle class or the ones who think they are rich. They are snooty. The actual rich people are nice as shit.

    An Ivy League school did an experiment where they took a pool of people half said they were unlucky half said they were lucky and what they found were people who were “lucky” just had big personalities and we’re very personable people and folks who were consider themselves unlucky were reserved and pessimistic. you just never know what’s out there if you don’t get out there and talk to people.

    Some of the most amazing people I’ve met and consider good friends and who took me under their wing and taught me the most valuable lessons in life were self starters that do..they think of something and then do it…they’re not afraid to try and fail and try again..and are now wealthy….theres the folks who were born into wealth and haven’t done anything to create the wealth that are snobs but for the people that I mentioned above…they don’t judge me for my current financial status or anything like that…they’re not the envious competitive types that try destroying others who they see as threatening which I apparently do that because I’m a go getter and the “poly Anna” type cuz I’d rather motivate then discourage others….i love to see people succeed and will help when I can and motivate …I don’t understand the competitive narcissistic types…and often times someone having wealth is often times stereotypes as a snob etc…just proves more that we can’t judge a book by its cover

    It's the same when hitchhiking, sometimes the most intimidating seeming people are the most kindhearted you will ever meet.
