to be fair, he has been battling a life-threatening illness between the wildcards and the event. Probably why he didn't sound as polished as usual.
the fact that D-low needs to emphasize that what AVH did was all done vocally speaks volumes about his quality as a producer. Just so clean.

The most entertaining part of this battle for me is AVH's dances around his set up😅 Idk it's so good to see him being hyped up by his own music, and it brings a lot to the whole vibe of the tracks! And AVH's second round is straight up fire which I can genuinely listen on a daily basis...

I think i'm leaning towards BreZ, because the mix is always something you can polish later (with a producer for example) while the ideas and the composition is of the Artist only. Just an opinion though, congrats to both for a splendid battle! :)

I think the mix is the bigger issue, and then his sickness, but otherwise ya, a new song for the second round may have been the winning move.

This was a great battle for sure so very close. I did want Brez to win but to be fair I am a little bias since I think he has such a good stage presence. He never fails to entertain any time he is on stage.

Dlow I noticed you didn't complain about the buildups in this one. Was that because people in the last video convinced you or is it because these two performers have the skill to make the buildup good? Because if its the latter I think that writes massively to the point that the fact you don't enjoy the buildups some times is a skill issue rather than a competition issue.
Brez using his Wildcard as a 2nd round probably played a part in him losing as well.. Both killed it
Brez already said he was only doing old tracks, so he knew he was losing, also he said he was feeling really sick during these latter months

@@aljoschaz He's still struggeling a lot with it tho. On his flight back home after GBB his eardrum exlpoded and he bled out of his ear. Then he had to stay for like a month in Taiwan because he couldn't continue flying and now he has probably permanent hearing loss on his one ear (I think it was something around 70%)
What I like about AVH is that he's not just a loopstation artist, he's a production artist.

I feel like BREZ was breathing really hard which affects vocals, and maybe something else also interfered the perfomance so he didn't do as well as he could.
In the same time AVH shocked me with quality, mix, and atmosphere of that tracks, filling the void I didn't know was empty before
even though I was rooting for BREZ 100%, this result is pretty fair (unlike 2021 one, that was BS)

as you mentioned before you’d like buildups to be quicker or even pre recorded before the battle, AVHS first round is a perfect example on why i disagree, hearing the progression is what makes looping imo.
