Good day ma'am. I have a daughter whose body measurements are .. bust-44. Waist-36. And hip-54. Ive always had problems with her fit. I followed your table and I'm seeing some improvement. Her waist is 18" smaller than her hip and your table stop at above 12" you use a 2" dart.... I'm asking if I can use three darts on either side of her skirt as I'm looking for a neater smoother finish....is there any rule against using three darts on either side of the skirt?

It varies from person to person. You simply measure to get it right

Thanks for commenting. For pregnant women, the measurement parameters remain the same. except the for waist. However, one could still take the round waist at the actual tommy area but that is just a guidance to whatever, one is making since garment sewn at this period is free.

What I meant is, take the measurement parameters as normal but depending on what you are making, you could still take the round waist and front length( as guidance) In case if wrap dress, let it have joining at under bust while the lower part will have a little freeness to make it comfortable before the wrap is placed on it.
