- I got the chance to see two Bell Boeing MV-22 Osprey heli-planes take off from the Santa Monica Airport on February 15, 2019. The V-22 has a unit price of $72 million dollars after $35 billion dollar development cost. They can hold 32 troops or 20,000 pounds of cargo and reach a top speed of 351 miles per hour. An Osprey was used on May 2, 2011 in the operation to kill Osama Bin Laden. This VMM-163 belongs to the squadron Ridge Runners. It's Evil Eyes tail was painted by Shayne Meder.

Wow! Very cool!
Greetings to Deanna and the doggos.
Thanks. Both reply with salutations, but the pups are hard to decipher. :)
Saw 3 of these bad boys land at Santa Monica airport today around 11a today, so badass!
They are awesome. I think those 3 were because the president visited.
Hey Vince, Good to hear from you. that was awesome I never saw one take off. Take care, Bruce
It would’ve been rad to see a vertical take off, but thats too dangerous to just do for no reason.
Interesting, now you need to film more planes.
I’d live to. But not many cool ones land here. This airport is mostly private jets and rich mans toys.
I can't hear you. Could you please raise your voice a wee bit?
HOW BOUT THIS?
That was cooool!!!!
Howdy stranger. Say hi to Deanna for me.
Lisa Ahrendt Hi!!
How you doin?
I knew you had a little more in you than just solving a rubik's cube. Vince, do you think China has more weaponry than the USA? Since we have had problems with them stealing our intellectual property, do we need to worry about them stealing anything else? That seventy million dollar plane had me thinking about a lot. Osprey. The bird that builds its nest upside down. Great video. God bless.
Thanks. IDK if China has a bigger arsenal, they have more people. And that is a threat to the planet that might be greater than weaponry.
@@VinceRocca Good point. More people equal more soldiers. Your job is interesting. You should do more of these videos. They are fascinating. Thanks for getting back with me. Really appreciated it. Can't wait for the next video. God bless you and your family. ✌
@@VinceRocca Oh, you have a point about the threat to the planet, because more trash from that part of the world is washing up here. I'm sure you saw the news. Good point. Until, the next video.
