I'll always remember being awful on Halloween, I'm not from America but for some reason, before I graduated highschool, we started celebrating it. We're required to buy at least two packs of candies and mix em with the whole class to give it to the children but we'd trick-or-treat at em to have our candies back. Some kids are nice, some are not. Yesterday at my work, we ended up eating half of the candies before the tiny humans could trick-or-treat, after the tenth kid, we run out of candies and there is this child who frowned and it was so funny and sad at the same time. Anyway, I really love the pumpkin colour of the house. I wish t-o-t is as fun in The Sims 4, I only get visited by one or two kids.

this house is so beautiful! i’m definitely going to load it into my game! my halloween plan is to stay inside all night (there’s a winter weather advisory and it’s too cold to do anything) and do nothing. BUT tomorrow my roommate and i are hosting a party, so that’s going to be fun. i hope you had a great halloween!

Wow, I love this build! I also love how many pumpkins are outside haha! The interior is also super pretty and rustic, I love it!! I have a university dorm idea, three girls in a dorm. There are two girls who love to party and are best friends for life and constantly hang out, and the other girl is a introvert and is just always in her room (her room would be very homely and full of things, her room would probably be the biggest).
Here in Sweden, Halloween is still a quite new thing. We have only had that tradition for like 20 years. First time I went trick or treating I was 7. That was in 1998. I remember that people was so confused and didn´t had any candy at home. And that is the only time I have been trick or treating. It´s has just got more popular in the last 10 years or so here. First and only time I´ve carved a pumpkin was 8 years ago. People are still a bit confused on when Halloween is, because we celebrate more All Hallows Day, and that is on the first Saturday after Halloween (or Nov 1st in other countries). We light candles at graves and in memorial places to remember those we have lost. A much more peaceful tradition and not so scary (even though a dark grave yard is quite scary). Just to add how confusing Halloween is for us Swedes. Our afternoon tv-show even called in an expert today to "sort out and explain our most confusing holiday". Yes, that is a direct quote from them. xD
Same in Poland. We have All Saints Day on 1st November which is rather about thinking about your dead relatives and lighting candles on the graves. So Halloween which is meant to be a happy day is a very new thing "from the West" to us. And I think that temperature isn't very Halloween-friendly. I mean it's about 3-5°C here 😅
Ledine. Yes, it’s cold here too, around 0. But Halloween origins from Ireland. But personally I like All Hallows Day (Hallow is an old word for Holy or Saint) better. I don’t like to be scared. 😅
Parenthood is my most used pack I just love the counters. Vintage Glamour least used pack. God I’ll take your weather anytime we are in Spring and getting 40 degrees temp. Lot of brush fires as we are in a bad drought.
This is such a cozy family build. Love it. Can't wait to see what your next build is coming up. I am really hoping to get a farming pack with the most beautiful world yet. I want Nut trees with lots of nut recipes. I want a nut roaster. I want it to make pralines with brown sugar for the ice cream machine. I want a nut recipe with slow roasted nuts that has butter and salt like my grandmother use to make. So good. Tractors would be cool. I think just chickens and horses and maybe cows. I will do mostly gardening and country hobbies like canning preserves and selling knitting crafts at the county fair.

Child sims can play in the bath too if you put a toy in there inventory and press the bath and you the option saying (play in bath) then click that then the kids will play with there toy in the bath :)

The fires are insane! Pg&e turned off the power and STILL CAUSED A FIRE. My grandparents haven't had power for like, a WEEK! It's crazy! The winds have been INSANE, in my area they've been up to like 60-70 mph. Stay safe!

It was -15 F here just 2 days ago, so -26.1 C-in other words, it was COLD especially for October! We see those temps in December and January but never this early!
They sometimes just play with a rubber ducky in guessing because the last time I played it the kid had a rubber ducky when I told it to take a bath, but I normally let them have showers instead of baths 🛁 🚿

It’s so cold and windy here in Ohio so I am bundling up my kiddos and taking them trick or treating! Next year, I think we will skip trick or treating and have some fun passing out candy!
Myself and two coworkers dressed as the game “Rock, Paper, Scissors” and we actually played the game to see who got to wear which costume! I was scissors...so much fun!!! Already thinking of another trio costume for next year! Got any ideas?!?
Strangerville is my least favorite pack because once you complete it, that's it, I have it because my friend bought it for me during a sale but I could do without it. The Moschino pack would be amazing if there was more to it, especially CAS items, it's lacking a lot. My favorite packs though are Seasons and Parenthood cause they add so many realistic qualities. I probably won't get University unless he gifts it to me, I have all of the packs thanks to him, but there definitely are some I can do without, especially since I download custom content and mods
For me it's hard to wrap my head around the fact that some countries define the seasons after the date. Like you talking about winter starting on December 21st. In Sweden, seasons change with the weather and winter is when we've had an average temperature below 0 degrees celsius for five days straight. That can be in October, or in January, it differs a lot and it also differs depending on where you are in Sweden. People in northern Sweden usually get winter about two months before the ones in the south. Am I the only one thinking it sounds SO weird with set dates?! (No offence, this is of course a lighthearted comment.)
I think the game play is seriously lacking, I tend to go back to the previous games to play. Sims 4 does have beautiful worlds and I am learning to decorate better and hope to build more. I think each pack adds something great for that!
