Loved your conversation and the kindness you shared :) ❤ will the controller/sequencer be available individually? Looks like the perfect marriage of tkb and enektron-style! And what s on the input side? Reset, direction?
@@rasmusnordholt-frieling8427 Hi! Controller and sequencer will not be available independently at this time, who knows what the future holds. On the top left are midi in/out/thru, clock in and clock out, and a global reset.
My first time hearing from Pittsburgh Modular's new coder. Wonderful; this looks and sounds like it is a great instrument and it's wonderful to have fresh input on the coding along with the wonderful 'analog is important' signal path. Have fun, be creative, and best of luck for your future career!
The brief discussion of the ways playing brass influenced your respective understandings of music theory was great. I was first trained in saxophone and practiced alongside a lot of clarinets and oboes, so notes were quite “absolute” rather than presented as intervals. But when we came together with the brass players to perform I did notice some crossover as well, especially in being just-intonated and sharing alternate fingerings for the same notes and so on. I always thought the Pittsburgh oscillators were super impressively brassy, especially with those non-symmetric wave folding; I guess her experience with trombones helped with that! 😊
These are some very nice design ideas!! chapeau, Luna :) however... as all the sequencer & ctrl bits can easily separated from the sound generation bits, it would be a shame to not offer the sequencer as a standalone unit (at some point at least). I reckon that´s part of the modular synth magic... it being modular. I´ve spent a fortune on funds and time on my existing 4 voices and would love to add such a nice SEQ to it. So here´s one more vote on a "SEQ only" variant.. :)
This is way more advanced but they are both very direct and easy to play on the fly. Have owned both for just over a week now so still learning but first impression is that this more generative with all the chance effects.
This looked really interesting to me at first but now that I’ve seen it played around with I will sadly probably pass because of the placement of the patch points right in the middle creates a mess to navigate sequencer/pads
Hey thanks for talking with me, loved getting to share this instrument!
Much love from Pittsburgh :)
It you girl? In trans girl?
Hey hey, I loved talking and hanging out with you for a bit! You did an amazing job on this Instrument. Keep it up!

Voltage Lab 2 is the highlight of the show for me! Will take a bit of saving, but I’ll probably pick one up. Lovely design!

best presentation of the machine so far
smart sequncer design, this was much more informative than the geartube stuff
This is geartube.
Can't wait to get my hands on one next month.
Akai has Dan. Pittsburgh Modular has Luina.
Oh good! now I kind of just want that sequencer.
Fantastic demo. Now I want one more than I did already! 🤪
Cool to hear her talk about the design of the sequencer. The design sounds quite unique. Can't wait to learn more.
Let's not
Awesome!
Cuckoo, ya no me queda sitio en mi pequeño home studio.
Ésto me lleva a mudanza o divorcio 🤔?????
🤣🤣🤣👍🏼😜
If you’re able to get your hands on one, would LOVE to see you demo the Cyma Forma ALT !
Oh, just noticed those cute programming socks though the table legs 😊 I hope she sees that I like them haha

i ask myself how this is comparing to the sequencer of the minibrute 2s

Using short Tendril cables can help.
here again to give my like (:
aww too bad this is out of my budget, looks super fun
Budgets can grow if you patiently put a little away over time ;)
This looks great, thanks for the rundown (also Cuckoo pls buy giimbal 😄)
Thanks. I was too excited to hold the camera still, haha.
Where is beard?
Mentioned in another video a shavings accident lead to the clean shave :)
He left it in the Hotel room

Yeah, Cuckoo is quite nice. Glad I(a girl) got to talk with him.

I was expecting a lot of nothing and that's what we got. Smoke and mirrors.
Sounds like garbage
Ouch.
Live patching is hard 😊
Totally agree - a bland and conservative sonic brick on a stick.
I wonder what the price tag is for this piece of nonsense?
@@PetraKann it’s $1999….

The machine? or,
Probably way too expensive.

There should be an investigation
