Serving- 4
Ingredients:
Rice- 1 glass or 250 gm(approx)
Potato- 4
Onion-2
Tomato-1 (large)
Curd/yogurt-1/3 cup
Green chilli-1 or 2
Coriander leave-1/4 cup
Mint leaves(pudina)-1/4 cup
Cooking oil - 5 tbsp
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder-1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds or shahjeera-1/2 tsp
Shahi Biryani masala powder- 2tbsp
Cinnamon(dalchini)-1 inch
Black cardamom(elaichi)-1
Salt to taste or 2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp

Both I and mom, being teachers, tend to have a hectic work life as we work from morning to night. As last night we were chasing separate deadlines and I realised that it was 9:30 PM and dinner was yet to be prepared. I immediately got ready for the task and straightway typed "Kabita's kitchen biryani". Since I'm quite familiar with your recipe, I knew that I wanted to prepare this aalu one (my 2nd attempt). I doubled the recipe, 3 whistles. Quick enough we had perfectly cooked rice and a tasty dinner. Time, effort and mood were saved. So, thank you didi ❤️ I wrote a long comment because you should know how valuable your minimal ingredients and simple technique recipes are for our family.
